Il Violino In Cremona

Excellent quality, reasonable prices. The entrees (asparagus and sea bass or asparagus and cheese) were very good, as were the olive oil tastings and the thick focaccia. We also had the egg and asparagus and eggplant ravioli with excellent sauce. They also have many other fish and meat dishes. The atmosphere is lovely, both inside and outside on the street next to the Duomo. Definitely worth a try.

Lunch and dinner at Violino is always wonderful and satisfying. I always love coming back. The food is delicious, and the price is right for the quality. WELL DONE 👏

If I ever return to Cremona I would come back here to eat, or rather to taste. Perfect atmosphere, table service like no longer used elsewhere. For my tastes I would prefer a little less butter. Superfluous to talk about the dishes, all prepared with mastery. All this has a cost and, consequently...that's okay.

Place of the heart in Cremona. Absolutely worth trying and highly recommended.

Ci sono stato un sabato sera in cui avevo deciso di pernottare a Cremona per visitare meglio la città. Situato in pieno centro, mi ci sono affacciato poco dopo l’ora di pranzo per prenotare la cena: inizialmente sembrava che non ci fossero posti a disposizione, ma per fortuna sono riusciti subito a trovarmene uno. Location elegante e raccolta (una grande stanza sopra e una più piccola sotto) e servizio di gran classe, con i camerieri giovani e preparati che spiegano le pietanze: ho preso un antipasto a base di tartare di manzo, che mi è stata condita sul momento, e un primo di risotto di zucca e amaretti. Sarà che poi ho deciso di prendere anche un calice di vino dei colli piacentini e un gelato a base di cocco e rum (volevo un sorbetto al limone ma era finito), il conto è venuto un po’ elevato (73 €), ma comunque in linea con la location e la qualità del cibo. La notte sono rimasto un po’ appesantito, ma forse appunto per il fatto che normalmente a cena non mi capita di mangiare così tanto. Sarà proprio per quest’ultimo aspetto che non mi sento di dare 5/5: il voto più corretto sarebbe 4,5/5, ma siccome si tratta di un punteggio che non è consentito da Tripadvisor, mi limito ad un 4/5, ben sapendo che potrebbe risultare leggermente ingeneroso. In definitiva, lo consiglierei senza dubbio a chi voglia trascorrere un piacevole pranzo o cena nel cuore della “città del violino”!

Very interesting and refined dishes. Welcoming and "warm" environment, a little in need of updating. Attentive and courteous service. Limited but important wine list. Very central location.

Taking a couple of hours to enjoy excellent food and equally good wine is truly worth it. Fantastic staff, super prepared and very kind, we really enjoyed our stay, we will be back soon.

Pranzo con un gruppo numeroso (52 persone) a menu concordato. Accoglienza ottima e titolare che, prima di iniziare, ci intrattiene sui piatti che verranno serviti. Servizio veloce e cortese e, cosa più importante, ottima preparazione dei piatti. A differenza di tanti altri ristoranti il vino è in bottiglia e di ottima qualità. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto positivo. Ringrazio il titolare e tutto il personale. In caso di ritorno a Cremona sarà sicuramente il mio locale per pranzare.
