Very good experience to taste the local food and wine from Ascoli Piceno. The food really tasted home made and very authentic. Service was perfect and the waiters were very nice.

We had lunch today at this lovely restaurant in the historic center of Ascoli Piceno. In our opinion, it was excellent for the quality of the food, the friendly staff, and the warm, family-like atmosphere. We highly recommend it.

Both lunch and dinner were excellent.
A typical restaurant but excellent food.
Artisanal and perfectly fried Ascoli olives, delicious ravioli incaciati with a flavorful and delicate filling.
Fried cremini (a kind of cremini), a delight.
Dishes not on the menu but typical of the Marche region. For dinner, I tried the tripe frittata and a stewed Cappello del Prete (a kind of pork sausage).
Excellent selection of wines and anisette.

I should point out that my wife and I come from two regions where food and hospitality are almost a religion: Sicily and Lazio. That said, we ate well, according to local tradition, with truly remarkable quality ingredients. The service was impeccable yet cheerful, and the price was in line with the overall quality. The restrooms were spotless, and the open kitchen was spotless and sparkling. Go there with confidence; you'll eat well and spend a few relaxing hours among respectable people. Don't listen to those who write reviews that sound like conspiracy theories, those who always feel persecuted, and those who always eat at fast food restaurants. P.S. I'm not related to the owners, nor did I even know them before going. 😉

Ottimo cibo della tradizione Ascolana con qualcosa in più. Locale non troppo grande, a gestione familiare, ottima accoglienza e bella atmosfera. Posizionato in una stradina a pochi passi da P.za del Popolo. Servizio cortese e veloce (considerando che è tutto preparato al momento); la gentilezza dei proprietari ti fa sentire a casa. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ci tornerei volentieri.

Il titolo la dice già lunga. Alta qualità, pietanze davvero molto buone, dagli antipasti, al primo, al secondo (spezzatino di coniglio squisito), fino al dolce. Servizio da 10 e lode, il titolare davvero molto cordiale e disponibile. Location interessante e ben curata.
