We stumbled across this place on our first night in Florence. Hot, tired and hungry! Don't expect Michelin star, but good wholesome tasty food at a reasonable price. Friendly staff! Hubbie ordered a pasta and spritz, me a salad and beer. We both struggled to eat our meals as we are both small eaters. But hubbies pasta was delicious and my salad was fresh and plentiful. The owner suggested we should return and try the home made pasta. Which we did the next night and again we were not disappointed. I ordered a meat platter with Artichoke and struggled to finish it as there was quite a bit of meat. Hubbies pasta with Gorgonzola and Rocket was amazing!

L'Oste in Piazza

24/08/2024: Excellent food, tasty, good portions, delicious wine (we took ravioli with truffle, tagliata with truffle, desserts, antipasti: muchello cheese and soft cheese) excellent service (the hostess runs around and serves with all her heart). I recommend 👍
17/08/2024: Small, unpretentious family-run restaurant. We had lunch with two good and abundant first courses. Nearby tables were served steaks and cuts which looked decidedly inviting. Excellent value for money.
