JANUARY 2023 Acceptable food with a two-course menu, but nothing fancy. The highlight of the experience was the Chianti wine: excellent flavor and served in a generous glass. If you're looking for a place where the wine takes center stage and the food complements it well without being luxurious, this is a good option.

This charming restaurant, immersed in Florence's unique atmosphere, offered us a memorable lunch, a perfect blend of tradition, quality, and a warm welcome. 🍽️ Our Gastronomic Journey We began with a mixed antipasto that immediately warmed the senses: traditional crostini and a delicious olive pâté, followed by a delicious pumpkin and egg flan, served alongside two fantastic buffalo mozzarellas of impeccable freshness. A rich and promising start. The journey continued with a flavorful pumpkin and sausage risotto, a comforting and balanced autumnal dish. For our second course, we chose the pork chop with potatoes, cooked to perfection: tender and juicy, accompanied by rustic and flavorful potatoes. 🍷 The Wine and the Perfect Finish To accompany these delicacies, an excellent Tuscan red wine enhanced every flavor, underscoring the restaurant's deep connection with the region. For a sweet end, we couldn't help but try the tiramisu: simply exceptional, creamy, and expertly prepared. A final coffee sealed this fantastic dinner. 🧑‍🍳 Service and Atmosphere The experience was made even more enjoyable by the courtesy and genuine hospitality of the owner, extremely kind and attentive to every need. Don't be put off by the exterior of this neighborhood restaurant, but come in to taste the excellent Florentine cuisine.

Don’t be disheartened if there isn’t too many people in the evening. They serve fantastic, rustic tucsan food in a lovely setting. Fantastic wine as well. If you are wanting something other than pasta and pizza we would recommend. We shared cheese & meat, Ravioli, Osso Bucco, Beans with tomato and sausage and for desert had a lovely chocolate tart and tiramisu. The meal felt like a home cooked dinner, we would definitely recommend. P.s. note for the restaurant- call the ‘marrow’ (on English menu) Osso Bucco people will order this more than how it’s currently presented.
