EXCELLENT! If you’re in Florence and want a good quality drink with excellent service, don’t miss Carro Matto. We were staying around the corner and are very happy to have found this place on our trip. Ps. Don’t pass up the cheese board or the smoked whiskey sour, they’re delicious 🤤

Cocktails: OMG! We spent almost 3 weeks in Italy and Carro Matto had the best drinks by far! Our group of 4 has very different tastes buds, and there was something for each of us. The owner even told us himself that he truly tries to keep his drinks balanced so that they're not too much of one thing. Must try drinks: 1. Smoke Fashioned Sour - Everyone was asking for this after they saw our table order. 2. Clover Club - Not-so-sweet spiked raspberry lemonade 3. Rose Margarita 4. Wood Gin Tonic (you can ask for Ginger Beer instead of Tonic Water) 5. Spicy Gin Tonic (you can ask for Ginger Beer instead of Tonic Water) - It's spicy on the backend. If you like tajin on the rim, or a jalapeño marg, you'll enjoy think drink. Service: We happened upon Carro Matto because we were staying across the street and decided to stay close for apertivo one evening. BEST. DECISION. EVER. Cristian, the owner, is a fantastic hostess. We needed a pizza recommendation and he was willing to order us a pizza from his friend’s place down the block to try before we made our final decision. I mean, who does that?!? He is the most outstanding, generous human being. Ambiance: If you desire a chill but fun vibe, come to Carro Matto! It's super cozy inside. There is enough to seat three tables of 4 and three tables of 2. Of course, there is outdoor seating when weather permits. We had so many conversations with other customers about where they're from and compared travel notes. It's a great atmosphere to get out of your bubble and meet others. FYI- There looks to be reviews from a couple years ago. Cristian opened this space up about 3 months ago.

Characteristic and very nice place in the center of Florence. The guys are kind, smiling, professional and prepared, the environment is pleasant in a historically traditional area and the service is excellent, impeccable. Highly recommended!
