We went to this restaurant last night, recommended by an acquaintance. It has two dining rooms: one larger, slightly darker, and the other more intimate and bright, but it also has a lovely garden that's used on warmer days. All the dishes were highly appreciated: the polenta with warm tomino cheese, the trio of lake fish, the smoked paleta, the sliced beef with arugula and parmesan (really tender and flavorful), the veal morsels with fresh porcini mushrooms, and the desserts. The service was very attentive and precise. The bill was also very reasonable, considering we drank a bottle of Nebbiolo della Valtellina and a glass of Prosecco.

A quaint restaurant in Abbadia Lariana, very charming inside. The menu is delicious, with both meat and fish dishes, some traditional lake dishes. Everything was perfect, from appetizer to dessert. Special mention goes to the polenta, which my mother said was the best she'd ever eaten, and the sliced beef steak—so many compliments. The owner and all the staff were very kind; I'll definitely be back.

Stavolta a parte lo scontrino non ho fatto foto, ma devo dire che gli spaghettone con porro e taleggio possono creare dipendenza, costine di maiale buonissime tenere e succose, buono anche il filetto di maialino.
Il mio punto di riferimento quando sono in zona.
Il servizio e corretto nonostante Fabio [il titolare] che è un po tagliato con l accetta, ma lui è così prendere o lasciare non cambierà mai!!

A parte qualche guizzo di creatività negli antipasti, il menù si presenta senza voli pindarici, privo di un qualcosa che lo renda degno di impegnarsi a trovare posteggio per raggiungere il locale. Ambiente carino e ben curato, gestori affabili ma….tutto qui. Prezzi nella media. Insomma….se proprio non sapete dove andare…
