Il veliero Atrani In Atrani

The appetizer with octopus and polenta was brilliant. The shrimps from the pasta were tasty and the lemon spritz super fresh.

I dined at "il Veliero" today and can only echo the many positive reviews. It's a small restaurant with a wonderful Italian ambiance. I ordered a mixed fried seafood platter followed by tiramisu for dessert. A half-liter of really good house wine costs €6, and a double espresso is €2. Everything was excellent and very reasonably priced.

Excellent food, I'm taking one star off for the burnt bacon on the carbonara. Pleasant atmosphere with a view of the small square in Atrani. Pleasant service. It was a good idea to go to Atrani for dinner instead of staying in Amalfi. It has its own charm here..

Everything was superlative. We had a seafood risotto, seafood carbonara pasta and a tiramisu, it was probably the best pasta and the best risotto I've ever had, I say this after 8 years of visiting different areas of Italy. I'm sorry we rushed to eat without taking pictures of the food! Thanks to the restaurant and the chef for a perfect lunch!

Wonderful seafood restaurant in the Atrani Sq. The seafood is fresh and beautifully cooked. I had the lemon & prawn spaghetti, followed by the mixed fried fish, both of which were delicious. Not the cheapest but for the quality produce it is worth the price. Service is leisurely but very friendly. Not one for a quick meal but an excellent setting to pass a few hours.

The place is well located, the food is good, the service is really... waiting an hour from the moment you take your order until the food arrives doesn't seem normal to me, especially when other tables that arrived later were served earlier, during the low season, with half the tables full...

Small family restaurant, fresh produce, lovely generous portions, very reasonable prices... we'll be back

If you are in this area, I highly recommend this family run restaurant. From the grandmother outside to welcome you, the son who runs the restaurant, the mother, who is the chef, the waiter and Uncle(or friend, not quite sure) Mateo, this place is the vibe of small towns that make Italy truly special. If you are in a hurry, don't go. They make everything to order, it's not fast food. But, it is worth the wait. I had a linguine with shrimp and lemon and my partner had the "New" pizza. She said it's the best pizza she has ever had! My pasta was so flavorful with just the right amount of lemon. I ate the entire dish! And the portions are generous so, it was a lot. We had a wonderful time with Mateo and really enjoyed talking to him. It made the experience that much more special. Thank you for an amazing meal and time.

Très bonne expérience un midi, sans prétention, sur une placette charmante et authentique. Une pizza excellente avec une pâte parfaite. Nos amis ont pris un plat de pastas aux légumes et crevettes tout aussi excellent. Tout est fait maison, cuisine familiale. Ce fut un régal !

La comida siempre fue deliciosa, ya sea marisco o pasta. Esperamos con interés nuestra próxima visita. Era nuestro restaurante favorito en Atrani.
