I took 2 pizzas which were very expensive compared to the flavour... nothing special.

Always top notch. The food is truly delicious, the waiters are exquisite, and the atmosphere is fabulous, especially in the dining room. Excellent menu and specials, and a wine list with excellent labels.

Abbiamo cenato all'interno, ambiente carino con tavoli non troppo vicini,vista tetto in legno,come negli chalet di montagna.All'ingresso il personale dedicato ti accompagna al tuo tavolo e ti fa accomodare, dopo averti fornito velocemente il menù, raccoglie il tuo ordinativo e dopo 1 minuto arriva con offerta gratuita di un piccolo antipasto( fettina di melanzana in aceto con caprino) per ingannare l'attesa. Piatti buoni, quantità generosa, buon rapporto qualità/ prezzo. Attenzione del personale alta!! Quattro stelle solo perché è la prima volta che ci vado...verificheremo l' assiduità di quanto scritto...ma intanto...CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!

First of all, the pizza is not entirely convincing: thin and sometimes difficult to digest dough, unbalanced toppings and cooking that is not always uniform. It's not the house's strong point, and those looking for excellent pizza may be disappointed. Another important flaw concerns the prices, which appear slightly above average for the type of cuisine offered. The quality is good, but the value for money could be more balanced. During our visit, we also happened to be placed near a very noisy table, probably a group celebrating a birthday. It is understandable that there are customers who want to celebrate with enthusiasm, but it would be desirable, when possible, to differentiate the rooms: on the one hand those looking for a quiet meal and on the other those who are there for a more lively special occasion. This would improve the experience for everyone. In summary: Il Veliero is a pleasant restaurant, with honest cuisine and friendly service. Good for a dinner with friends or family, especially if you choose fish. However, we recommend that the management pay more attention to the organization of the spaces and the pricing policy, to offer an even more balanced and satisfying experience.
