Fantastic experience. Sublime cuisine, excellent service and above all high quality home cooking. One of the best restaurants in Ortigia and Syracuse to try. Fantastic. Nello is a special chef and Paolo is friendly and very kind in the dining room. Well done, super recommended

Thank you for the best food! The food surpassed our expectations and was one of the best meals we have had in Ortigia! We had the Ravioli Di Pesce and the Pasta Trinacria, highly recommend!!! It was fantastic!!!

Delicious food at very honest prices. Very kind staff. They went to get us a barley coffee at the bar as they didn't have it available. Friendly and helpful. Always smiling. Advised!!!!!

I leave few reviews, but il Veliero is one of the places that deserves it. My girlfriend and I booked a table for two for lunch, spaghetti with red mazzara prawns and mixed fried foods not to be missed accompanied by an excellent white wine from a Sicilian winery. If you want to eat good fish (and above all fresh) a stone's throw from the Ortigia marina in a welcoming place with owners who know how to welcome you, this is the right place!

28/08/2024: We ate the pizza but it arrived after an hour and a half... The most horrible aspect was when people, known to them, arrived after us with a time difference of about an hour, their pizza arrived. It immediately stinks so we got annoyed and asked why.... No response but in exchange we also got the pizza. As for the food, everything was good and the guys were very kind
27/08/2024: For us, one of the most delicious pizzas we have ever tried. I don't know if the tomato or the dough has something sweet that's pretty good. It looks small but inside it has a lot of space and tables.

20/08/2024: Very nice place, as the name suggests, inside a cave. In fact, you go down the stairs and reach the room. Good pizza and super desserts.
