Il Veliero In Bari

Delicious pizza! We got takeout late at night. The guys made it even though they were almost closing. It's clear this is a place with tradition and customer service. Thank you.

The best pizza in Bari! Although it doesn't have all the glamorous atmosphere of a restaurant, eating a delicious Capricciosa on the wall surrounding the nearby square is one of my fondest memories from the trip (there are also tables available outside the pizzeria). The very friendly service and authentic Italian atmosphere of this place make it, in my opinion, a cut above the typical restaurants. Best regards, and I heartily recommend Il Veliero to everyone.

We return here every time we visit Bari. It's authentic, lively, and, above all, they have delicious pizza! Plus, a small perroni for €1.20, what more could you want? 😉

I could have given 5 stars. PERFECT FOOD, the old man at the cash register was kind and friendly (as he should be), BUT the guy at the counter was incredibly rude and obnoxious and could be described as rude. Kiss, kiss, the Japanese and the Chixy❤️ (the little heart is for the old man)

Don't expect anything crazy. But this is one of the pubs that is open and working on non-working days in Italy. Quick order fulfillment.

It's cooked to order. There's no English menu, so I used a translation machine to order a zucchini pizza. It was ready in less than 10 minutes. The three male employees were very friendly. The pizza was very big and I was very full. Most of the customers were locals. I really like restaurants where locals eat.
