I ordered pappardelle with saffron and zucchini and was blown away.
The saffron flavor in this dish reminded me of the authentic flavor of saffron my grandmother used to prepare for me as a child, something I'd never tasted anywhere else.

The restaurant is well-kept, with just a few tables and a formal feel. The dishes arrive promptly, and the pasta is all homemade. The gnocchi are exquisite, as are the spaghetti alla chitarra. There's no wine by the glass; they do have a house bottle for €8. Good.

Fantastic experience! A family-run restaurant with excellent quality products. I recommend the traditional appetizer and a delicious plate of polenta. The potatoes are a must-try on the side; they have an incredibly authentic flavor, just how I like it. It's best to book in advance as there aren't many tables.

Excellent! This is the most important reason to visit Rocca Pia, a charming and authentic village in itself. We were welcomed warmly, immediately engaged in a frank conversation, and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended!

If you're in the area, it's worth a visit. Arrosticini, potatoes, and a selection of cured meats and cheeses (made in-house) deserve 10 minutes of applause :), but the first courses are also delicious. Perfect service. Thank you!!
