We ate so well that we went back again the next evening. From pizza, to first courses, to Florentine steak. Courtesy and availability.

Everything was excellent: location, environment, courtesy of the staff and quality of the food. A place just outside the walls of the wonderful medieval town of San Gimignano, where part of my heart has resided for years. We took a Trovatore pizza, with truffle and sausage, excellent ingredients, digestible and tasty, made properly, on a wood-fired oven. We saw incredible dishes pass by, from top Chianina and Florentine restaurants, so we will be back. I understand why Dante's circle of gluttons was crowded... And let's go back... last break... top of the taste... life must be lived... always and in any case!

New Year's Eve dinner, therefore an evening with potential critical issues to manage. Multi-starred level of kindness, competence and relationship skills, excellent raw material managed with skill. This is how this work is done, and when done this way it is also a pleasure to pay. WELL DONE!

We had the pleasure of spending New Year's Eve dinner at the Il Trovatore restaurant in San Gimignano, and we couldn't have made a better choice! The Fiorentina di Chianina was absolutely spectacular, cooked to perfection and of excellent quality. The staff was extremely kind, professional and thoughtful, explaining to us with great attention how to best enjoy this delicacy. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and perfectly in line with the special occasion. A restaurant that we highly recommend for those looking for an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience. We will definitely be back.

We found this place on a recommendation, even though it is easy to see since it is on the road that surrounds the town. David attended us, it was a pleasure both for the service, the quality of his products and how they treat him. The best carbonara pasta we have ever tried. Without a doubt our favorite restaurant in the city.

Excelente comida y gran hospitalidad. Nada es demasiado problema. Gran ambiente. Los anfitriones están tan orgullosos de su producto que se muestra en todo lo que hacen.

Es spricht wieder für sich-das Il Trovatore! Besser denn je! Mit neuem Team und Liebe zur echten toskanischen Küche! Echte kulinarische Highlights warten hier. Das Service Team , Diana, Adi u David lesen jeden Wunsch von den Augen ab. Bitte unbedingt ausprobieren! Es lohnt sich!! Reservieren ist bestimmt ratsam, besonders für's Abendessen....

Agriturismo Belagaggio

08/12/2024: A spectacular weekend at the Belagaggio farmhouse. The room (HONEY) is divided into a bedroom, bathroom with amenities and room for the hydromassage tub and shower. We had dinner at the restaurant and were satisfied from the starters to the dessert, everything was delicious! The breakfast was very rich and delicious, from sweet to savory. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.
26/10/2024: I stayed in this farmhouse and took advantage of the half board service. The location is typical of the Val d'Orcia, everything is very quiet and relaxing, an excellent location for visiting Pienza and Montepulciano. The room was clean, the toilets were a little dated. As for the food, everything was excellent, we ate very well, the breakfast was plentiful with delicious cakes. A special mention for the maitre who kindly served us dinner and the girl who welcomed us in the morning with a smile, a familiar and welcoming environment. A place to recommend. Oasi Verde

05/11/2024: In all of Siena, but also in all of Italy and I don't think I'd say it's nonsense if I extend the action plan to all of Europe, you can't find a store better stocked with gluten free, lactose free and excellent local products! In fact, in the store you can find organic fruit and vegetables, excellent quality meat and fish, but also mouth-watering homemade veg products! The owners are super kind, welcoming and also offer refreshment service with salads, wraps, Cecina, homemade bread and delicious delicacies. As a side dish, but no less important, they also have dried fruit, cereals, drinks and more, all organic and chosen with love to take care of both the customer's body and spirit. Super recommended!
22/10/2024: I discovered Oasi Verde on my last day in Siena and wished I had found it sooner! They offer a variety of healthy products to take away as well as delicious meals to enjoy on-site. I tried a dreamy vegan ice cream and a salad that was simply perfect. It's not easy to find places like this in Italy, and Oasi Verde truly feels like a green oasis amidst all the gluten and sugar. Their products are organic, and the owner is very attentive to ensuring your meal meets your expectations. I would definitely go back!
