I give 3 stars because the pizzas were very good but €45 for a 600 gram sea bream seems a little excessive to me...

Very good price/performance ratio 👍🏼 Nice, friendly and absolutely typically Italian. The food was excellent… No tourist rip-offs like in many restaurants in the area! Very good portions👌🏼 Always happy. The bad reviews are incomprehensible!

We were looking for a nice place to have dinner when we noticed the little blue sign on the promenade. The sea view is really beautiful! About the atmosphere: classic family business, everyone helps. If you're looking for head waiters with tails or gloves here, you're definitely in the wrong place. Il Timone is typically down-to-earth Italy, that's why we like this country! The food was really very good! She had spaghetti with mussels, I had pizza with salsiccia and peppers. Plus 2 drinks plus a bottle of water, then two double espressos. The price-performance ratio was great. But the big hit came at the end! There was a thunderstorm and we asked the boss to order a taxi for us to the hotel a few kilometers outside. After a few minutes he explained to us that all taxis were full. He drives us himself! No sooner said than done. We've never had service like this before. Grazie, we'll definitely be back!

We took 3 different pizzas and 2 excellent homemade desserts, with a sea view. We had a chat with the very friendly owner and if by chance you are on holiday here, give it a try.

We ate delicious pizzas with a beautiful view of the beach, the sea and the harbor. Owner also very attentive and nice (in Italian), had a nice chat and showed us where Elba, Corsica and Capraia could be seen.
