Il Tasca In Milano

I was very disappointed by my recent experience at Tasca, a place which, being historic, should guarantee quality service. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The waitress who served us was extremely grumpy and unprofessional. When we politely asked why the bruschetta included in the aperitif did not arrive, he replied in an annoyed manner: "The chef is busy and since the bruschetta is free for you, he prepares the dishes that the customers pay for first. If you're hungry, here's the menu.” I find this attitude unacceptable. Customer care should be a priority, regardless of how much they spend. Furthermore, we are talking about bruschetta – simple slices of bread with ham – which certainly do not require long preparation. It's a real shame to see how the quality of service has dropped so much in a place with so much history behind it. I hope they improve, because my experience was decidedly negative. I don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

We had a simple glass of wine, expensive but of good quality. Overall not too bad, but there are much cheaper bars in the same area.

Excellent Spanish cuisine place in Corso di Porta Ticinese... where I have been coming for years. Very pleasant and friendly atmosphere, very friendly staff who always welcomed me kindly even late in the evening after concerts, theatre, matches etc... Quality of the food excellent with tapas and Iberian hams and the wine list is also very varied. Absolutely recommended!

How much do you eat and drink well within your pocket?????? Too much

The sweetest staff! We randomely ended up here during a huge thunderstorm since they offered us to sit inside and wait it out, even though they were not open yet. We ordered a beer each and they brought us bruschetta for free while we were waiting. Ended up getting sangria too and it was amazing!
