Nice location: a mix of elegance and informality. In the summer, it's very pleasant to sit outside, thanks in part to the perfect, non-glaring lighting! The staff is courteous, attentive, and quick. The quality of the food is unquestionable. It's located in a somewhat inconvenient spot, but fortunately there's ample parking. I plan to return. ☺️

We went to this restaurant last night for a study dinner, so a large table of about 15 people. We ate under the portico, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. We ordered several appetizers, including the charcuterie and cheese platter, focaccia, and fried foods. The platter was very good. For the main course, I had the medium-rare fillet steak. It was delicious and tender. Fast and efficient service. The restaurant is also excellent for its wide variety of dishes, including first and second courses of meat and seafood, as well as pizza.

A restaurant in northern Rome with plenty of outdoor space. Good quality food, even for pizza lovers. Service is a bit disorganized.

Classic and historic restaurant! Convenient parking! Truly excellent food, spoiled for choice! The first courses are delicious, like the tartare sandwich and the crouton with sausage and stracchino cheese! Truly perfect service. The girl who looked after us was always present and available but never invasive. Excellent desserts, incredible hot raspberries! I will definitely be back!

The meat was very good, certainly a little expensive but that was to be expected from the menu! The starters and desserts were good. The waitress was very kind even though there were so many people!

Il ristorante e' molto curato e pulito, con tavoli interni, ben distanziati, e tavoli esterni per la bella stagione. Noi siamo stati accolti da un bel gruppo di addetti,una giovane manager, credo si chiami Michela, molto educata e professionale, un ragazzo originario del Bangladesh anche lui estremamente corretto, gli ho chiesto il nome ma non e' facile da ricordare, e altre ragazze. Abbiamo iniziato con una serie di antipasti, ottimi, in particolare segnalo le chips di carciofi fritti, straordinarie, sono un cultore di fritture e raramente ne ho assaggiate di cosi' buone. poi mozzarelle di bufala, si percepiva la qualita' superiore, ne ho assaggiato un pezzetto essendo tendenzialmente vegano, e un misto di salumi che non ho mangiato. Poi io e un'altra persona abbiamo preso verdure grigliate, tre hanno preso filetto una ha preso carne di maiale. Dolci fenomenali, in particolare i lamponi caldi con gelato di vaniglia. Da bere un ottimo lagrein. Servizio perfetto, veloce mai invadente. Manca la musica di sottofondo.. I prezzi non sono economici: eravamo sette e abbiamo pagato 53 euri a persona ordinando quello che ho scritto prima. In conclusione lo chef/la chef conosce perfettamente il mestiere, il locale e' gradevolissimo, i ragazzi sono di rara educazione e professionalita'.....ma i prezzi sono elevati. Rimane il fatto che e' il modo migliore di spendere i soldi, e sicuramente torneremo. Il ristorante dispone di un ampio parcheggio, e questo e' un dettaglio non trascurabile. Il parcheggio e' custodito da un simpatico ragazzo del Bangladesh. giovanni

02/06/2025: Al19 – A Roman Gem with Real Heart 🇮🇹🍷 Tucked away in the heart of Roma, Al19 is the kind of place that makes you fall in love with food and the people serving it. The moment you walk in, the place radiates warmth and personality — the kind that only comes from real passion. I had a glass of vino bianco, crisp and refreshing, the perfect opening act. Then came the pasta… First, a cacio e pepe that was silky, peppery perfection — no fuss, just flavour done right. Then, a carbonara that could convert even the most stubborn skeptics. Rich, comforting, and authentically Roman. The owner is an absolute standout — welcoming, funny, and clearly takes immense pride in every dish. Al19 isn’t just a meal — it’s a Roman experience. One I’d go back for in a heartbeat.

Ma.Na Pizza E Kebab

10/07/2025: I don't write many reviews, but they deserve more recognition. Always very kind, a little slow, the place is a dump, and they're not the cleanest place I've seen. I've been there several times, usually during the day, and always had fantastic pizza (they use Caputo Pizzeria flour, which anyone who knows knows is excellent), and the kebabs were also good, the meat was good, and didn't taste chemically based. It's strange that they don't close the ends, and perhaps the kebab selection is a bit limited. The only flaw is the quality is inconsistent; at least sometimes it's exceptional, and sometimes, especially in the evening, the pizza from a kebab shop is slightly better than average. Bonci and Eroi della Pizza are nearby, but trust me, besides being cheaper, the pizza here is just as good. I honestly think they've learned from some established pizzerias because, in addition to the great quality of the dough (not always), it's reminiscent of the more traditional Roman pizzas by the slice, albeit a bit older.
