The atmosphere is welcoming and very well-maintained. The traditional cuisine is very good and tasty, using fresh, excellent ingredients. Rolando was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

A wonderful experience Recommended by a couple of friends who have been longtime visitors to this place. We ate the authentic Livorno-style cacciucco, a huge 1.5 kg portion for two. Fast service and friendly, helpful staff.

We came to this trattoria on the recommendation of locals exclusively to try the famous Livorno cacciucco, and we were thrilled. Delicious, slightly spicy, and served with slices of toasted bread (or pieces of fried polenta), it completely met our expectations. The wait was practically non-existent; the staff were welcoming and attentive; the restaurant was clean, with rooms ranging from classic to Art Nouveau in style. There are a few outdoor tables.

Un cacciucco veramente divino, porzione grande (più che sufficiente a riempire letteralmente 2 persone), polpo e seppia che si scioglievano in bocca, vari tranci di pesce saporitissimi... un vero trionfo di sapori. Polenta fritta cotta alla perfezione. Chi era con me ha mangiato totani gratinati e orata arrosto squisiti. Rapporto qualità prezzo veramente eccezionale. Personale simpaticissimo e accogliente. Un posto genuino dove si riesce ancora a respirare l'atmosfera di una volta.... Bravi!!!

Il miglior cacciucco della Toscana. Il piatto forte del ristorante accompagnato da ottimo fritto. Locale informale ma ti senti a casa, coccolati dal proprietario. Se siete a Livorno, andateciiiiiii

22/07/2025: I'm usually not the kind of person who orders a full-course dinner, but I am so glad that I tried. I got some prawns with seaweed as a starter, pasta with herring as a first course, a tuna steak with veggies and soy sauce as a second, and some ice cream for dessert. I'm not an expert, but it felt like a blend of Mediterranean and Japanese cuisine. I loved it so much that I came back the next day. It was easily the best food I had this year. Definitely go there if you are in the area.
