Excellent and abundant Assunta lunch with local home cooking. Everything was excellent from starters to desserts. We will still enjoy what we didn't manage to finish for dinner. Excellent place, not exactly touristy but where it is absolutely worth stopping.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the "Il Sogno di Francesca" bar restaurant in Chitignano, and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The restaurant is located in a quiet location, perfect for those looking for a moment of relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the cities. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, with simple but refined furnishings that reflect the genuine spirit of Tuscany. Francesca and her staff are extremely friendly and attentive, making you feel at home from the first moment. The menu offers a selection of typical Tuscan dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. I tried [insert specific dishes you tried], and I can say that each dish was delicious, well presented and full of authentic flavours. I'm a little late in writing this review, but after months I still think back to Francesca's Dream. I've been to this little place twice, the second time about two months ago. Every time I come down it has become an obligatory stop, in fact I have already booked for August. The restaurant is a place that smells of passion and tradition, that appreciates and enhances local resources and products and that is not afraid to experiment. And if I consider this place so special it is only thanks to Francesca. An amazing cook, she exudes energy, enthusiasm and dedication to her craft. When he arrives at the table and displays the menu of the day, he is able to transport every customer and catapult him into his dream. When she talks about her dishes, her pairings and her creative process her eyes light up, and if you're like me yours will light up too. The food is excellent, especially if you accept the advice of the chef, who never makes mistakes. Quality, quantity, excellent prices but above all the simple and warm atmosphere of home, which smells of tradition. Definitely one of my favorite places.

Ristorante straordinario dove i piatti sono dei piccoli capolavori creati con la sapiente maestria di Francesca e il suo staff di collaboratori. Il sogno di Francesca è situato in un piccolo paese del Casentino (Chitignano) che vale assolutamente la pena di andare a visitare almeno una volta nella vita. Locale curato, prodotti di qualità, professionalità e un tocco di tradizione rendono questa perla della gastronomia aretina un angolo di paradiso. Unico obbiettivo di chi si reca in questo tempio dell’arte culinaria è commettere “errori” di felicità che portano sempre gli avventori a ritornare con entusiasmo e curiosità. Il servizio in sala è attento e mai banale con un tocco di simpatia da parte dei proprietari che attraverso la padronanza della propria saggezza e competenza intrattengono i propri clienti in modalità “Ingegneria Sociale”. Vai e goditi la felicità di essere in un posto unico !

La passione con cui viene tenuto questo locale e che viene trasfusa nei piatti si percepisce non appena si entra in questo locale un po’ defilato. Piatti squisiti, della tradizione toscana e non, cura nella scelta delle materie prime, cucina come se la domenica stessi andando dalla nonna che prepara le cose migliori per i nipoti! Da andarci, ritornarci e consigliarlo urbi et orbi! Buono, buonissimo, accoglienza familiare che ti mette subito a tuo agio. Torneremo presto!

Very good restaurant!!!!! Everything was homemade and was delicious. They welcomed us warmly and the staff was very friendly. The service was fast. The portions were plentiful and of good quality. Absolutely worth trying!!
