What do you do to make an old, famous, and distinguished hotel even better. Renovations that enhance its grandeur and opulence and updating and creating a state of the art gym center and beautiful pool to swim laps in certainly help. But foremost and most important is the fabulous service and attention to detail provided by its staff and overseen by its Director of Guest Experience, Mr Silvano Corcione. After a recent brief stay, prior to a wonderful Backroads experience in Piedmont, my buddy friend roomate responded to a guest survey by saying that the bed mattress was not firm enough for him. Within a day or two he received a call from Silvano to discuss the issue. To keep it short, suffice it to say that when we returned a week later, not only was the problem fixed, but he met us at the front desk where we received a substantial upgrade to their beautiful Ambassador Suite. This type of response is what makes a great hotel even better. This process of recovery not only takes care of the issue but makes the stay even more memorable and enjoyable than if nothing had ever happened. Grazie Mille to Silvano and his wonderful staff. Historic hotel located in the center of Milan. Five-star luxury service and exceptional staff. Especially the concierge team, Oliver and Lorenzo, were unforgettable.

I was there with my son last weekend, and we had a wonderful time at the Prinzen. The location is sensational: right between the main train station and La Scala. The subway and Milan's cool and iconic trams are right outside the door. Jeremy and Francesco greet you at reception like a long-gone friend. The concierge team finds great city walks and makes the impossible possible with restaurant reservations. The spa is beautifully designed, with a pool, a well-maintained gym, a steam room, and a Finnish sauna. The rooms are well-maintained, and the team cleans them impeccably. Since it was very hot, we were also provided with complimentary water in our room during our stay. The breakfast was also nothing to complain about. The hotel is steeped in history and is undoubtedly one of the city's top addresses. We would gladly stay here again next time...we were absolutely satisfied!

They truly don’t run hotels like this one anymore. We were absolutely delighted with our stay here, service was above and beyond and the rooms absolutely gorgeous. The spa is also fantastic. Cannot wait to come back here!
