Stopped in here after our other plans for dinner fell through. So glad we did. The food was delicious and the polenta with sausage antipasti was so flavorful. I could have ordered 4 more and been so happy. The wild boar and chickpeas was yummy and flavorful and the two pasta my friends got were incredible looking and tasting. The music maybe could have been turned up a little but otherwise it was great!

Passing through Siena, a timeless interlude accompanied by the Italian music of the 80s. A truly regal Negroni and surely the best carbonara of my life. An incredible tiramisu. Go without hesitation; a 4.4 rating seems far too low.

Friendly and professional staff and excellent prices. The food was delicious and top-quality!!! We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after many others turned us down because we didn't have a reservation. The only ones who were kind enough to let us in. Highly recommended!!!

Courtesy and quality. In the heart of Siena, just a few meters from the bus station and the stadium parking lot, Nicola welcomed us with a delicious meat and fish menu in a very comfortable setting.

Quite possibly THE best steak we have EVER had. What a treat. Strolling by on the way to the duomo, the restaurant caught our eye. We received a lovely welcome as we booked to return in a couple of hours. We were remembered when we came back and the excellent service continued - we never felt rushed, even though the kitchen had closed and the restaurant should have closed half an hour before (we had an excellent Chianti Reserva to finish). The bistecca a la Fiorentina was perfectly cooked - truly ‘melt in the mouth’. Outstanding flan di patate. Cavelo nero - superb. Relaxed dining, perfetto.

21/10/2025: If you are driving in Italy you can't go wrong with Si Montalcino Hotel. Clean, well kept with a very friendly staff. great parking that is close to the hotels lobby. It's only 5 minutes away from Montalcino which is a nice place to visit.
