Fun, vibey space with outstanding service and an incredible ambiance. Giulietta Vino e Cucina is a gorgeous restaurant -- or, rather, "restaurant" at the time...more on that in a moment -- with a super cozy, intimate ambiance. They have a random assortment of furniture, with a variety of different tables, couches, and armchairs. Each one is ornately decorated and super comfortable, and, especially with all the lamps and cozy lighting, it really feels like you're walking into someone's house instead of a restaurant. When I visited this delightful little hole-in-the-wall space in July 2024, they were still in the process of getting their restaurant license. As a "gastronomic experience provider," they were allowed to serve food, but they could not serve it directly to you. As a result, they had little side tables next to each of the main tables where they would place the food, wine, and anything else so that you could grab it and move it onto your table. The bread was stored in little brown paper bags, much like what schoolchildren used for lunches in the old-fashioned movies. We decided to try a unique pasta shape apparently only available at their restaurant, which was a super thick noodle -- almost like a long tteokbokki, or Korean rice cake -- that is apparently only made by a single Italian grandmother who exclusively sells to Giulietta. We tried the pasta shape with two different sauces; my friend got her's with the oxtail, and I tried the puttanesca di mare. Both were solid and flavorful, but I have to admit that I wasn't the world's biggest fan of their proprietary pasta shape (whose name / description on the menu literally translates to "flour and water"). It was a little bit chewy, but not in the way gnocchi or tteokbokki are, and was a bit too thick for the sauce to be able to permeate. I felt there was a bit too much pasta and not enough sauce or oxtail / seafood to create a wholesome meal, but it was a really cool experience! I would come back for the vibes alone, but would probably just try a different dish next time.

it was not what i expected. chairs were not comfortable for a dinner. starter + pasta were a 7. ice cream was great.

This restaurant is a true gem ! The food is excellent, authentic italian cuisine that we want when we travel to Rome ! Don’t hesitate, just go you will not regret it !

Best dinner we've had in Rome. Charming interior, attentive and very kind staff, and absolutely incredible food. The zucchini flowers with ricotta and saffron were so good I could've ordered 3 plates of them. My dessert (white chocolate ball with pistacchio ice cream and some extras) was mindblowingly good and topped off a lovely evening in Rome. If I ever visit Rome again, I will definitely come back here.

Great location, cute atmosphere, and excellent service. All the servers were very friendly. I liked the food, especially the zucchini flowers and the oxtails. It was definitely on the expensive side though. I have spent less for tastier food in other places in Rome
