18/06/2025: Quite a nice place, good food but no wow, honest prices
17/06/2025: Basically there are only two seats so, there is not much choice, there were two of us. We went here because it was recommended by a person on the street. Typical rustic mountain restaurant from the 90s let's say but pleasantly decorated. We were in quite a hurry but not that much, we read the menu which basically explained that there would be a wait for these we sat down at 12.30, we took two dishes each sure to speed up the service but it wasn't like that. The appetizers arrived after an hour! And the first after another hour asking every now and then, the wait is fine but we didn't expect two hours for two dishes. In the wake of the disappointment I was tempted to give two stars. The appetizer wasn't bad but the first courses with porcini mushrooms weren't that special let's say, there were few porcini mushrooms, the pasta was al dente but tasteless. A table that sat down 10 minutes after us finished eating 20 minutes before us! In the end the manager tried to offer the dessert for free, a commendable attempt but maybe he didn't understand that we had been sitting for two hours, maybe it would have been better not to charge us for the appetizer, I don't know, it would have been quicker... if you decide to try it, DO NOT go on holidays otherwise you will never get up. If the place fills up even halfway it becomes a problem. I don't know what difficulty they have in the kitchen, maybe organizational, but if they write it on the menu it means that it is their policy. I don't know how a kitchen should be organized to be faster, maybe hire more staff or have fewer burners anyway, the concept of slow food is understandable but in our case it was perhaps a bit exaggerated. I can't give an objective overall rating to the dishes because it was the first time we went, that's why I gave 3 stars. However, I think that if we were to go there again we wouldn't go. Let's say the bill was reasonable but the quality/price ratio was just not there. The waiters were very busy and efficient, the problem must be the kitchen. Since we didn't stay there, the rooms cannot be judged.
