Il Rovescio In Bologna

Very nice restaurant in the center of Bologna, with both vegan and vegetarian options. Highly recommended and really good pizza. High quality of products, which justifies the moderately high prices.

I fell in love with this little place! We went a bit by chance on a Friday for lunch, the place is small with a handful of tables. The person serving the tables was very nice and put us very at ease, he immediately offered us a herbal tea together with the menu to consult. The menu is quite limited in terms of choices, but offers many vegan options. We had a first course, a second course and a dessert (well only water) and we spent something more than €80 in total. Not low cost, but they really deserve the money they ask for: everything was delicious. Definitely the restaurant that has remained with me the most in the heart of Bologna

Came here with my wife, she's vegan and I'm vegetarian so she tried the vegan cheese platter and I had the regular, as well as some pasta dishes. Everything was absolutely incredible. The house vegan cheese is literally the best she's ever had! I didn't catch our waitresses name but her and Luca were extremely kind and overall it was an amazing experience, definitely make time to come here!

On a recent weekend trip, I decided to have a look through which restaurants were making a noise locally, and this one certainly was. Situated in a wonderful busy area surrounded by bars and other restaurants, it's an ideal place to settle on. Focus on organic ingredients is highly evident here. The menu has a dedicated page. The other dynamic is providing innovative food alongside Bologna's classic dishes. In the pizza department, few could refute that Il Rovescio are doing incredibly well in this department. The toppings are highly imaginative and, furthermore, incredibly tasty. Using vegetable creams and purees is one of their skills. Service as expected was fantastic, and the atmosphere was just perfect for a meal. Everything we had, from a classic margarita to the other more creative pizzas, were sublime. Pricing was highly reasonable. Luca, the manager, has created a cocktail called the Americano. Have one ad an aperitif. Stunning. Desserts, too, did the job nicely. I would probably eat here weekly if I could. Also, I would book too as there were no spare tables and diners were being turned away. Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Discovered by chance it was a wonderful surprise. Few dishes but refined and cared for. Everything in season. Vegan options too. Both meat and first courses were delicious and the staff were friendly. I'll be back to try the pizza

Il Rovescio is always a fantastic place to have a dinner or, when possible, a lunch. The food is VERY WELL, both omnivorous, vegetarian and vegan options, there is also excellent pizza! Quality and seasonal ingredients. Friendly and approachable staff. There are few seats inside but when possible, you can also eat outside under the porch, in the characteristic area of ​​Via del Pratello.

A little small but very nice, they have both vegan and celiac cuisine and this is very appreciable, a little expensive in the prices of the wines
