Delightful place, it feels like taking a journey back in time, entering your grandmother's house, typical of the Po Valley. Excellent quality food, from bread to desserts all homemade. Exquisite dishes, the "shoe" is a must to return clean dishes. Congratulations and well done to this wonderful couple who manage this tavern superbly.

A place, but it is an understatement to define it that way, discovered by chance. But for once, fate allowed us to "enjoy" a truly pleasant experience: we found great professionalism and excellent dishes. What more could you want for an impromptu Saturday evening? Ah, coffee was offered to us. As soon as possible, even though we are from Bergamo, we will try to return.

Sono tornato al Roggiolo dopo anni per una cena pre-natalizia con gli amici di sempre. Ricordavo una tipica trattoria di paese, con cibo "alla buona" e porzioni esagerate. Sono rimasto molto piacevolmente colpito dalla trasformazione nel frattempo intercorsa: il Roggiolo è diventato un posto più elegante, pur mantenendo il suo carattere rustico. I proprietari molto cordiali ed accoglienti, il cibo davvero buono, semplice ma cucinato con ingredienti di prima scelta. La battuta di fassona una delle migliori mangiate da tempo. Anche la carta dei vini è stata una piacevole scoperta. Promosso a pieni voti!

Typical and homemade cuisine: excellent mixed cured meats accompanied by an exceptional fried gnocco. Pumpkin gnocchi with taleggio cheese and hazelnuts good, right portions. There is a record player on which you can play whatever music you want.

Sono tornato in questa accogliente osteria dopo un pò di tempo.. Mi ha fatto veramente piace vedere che col tempo questa osteria è riuscita a mantene intatti i suoi punti di forza.. Cibo semplice ma ottimamente cucinato con una materia prima di qualità, ottimi vini del territorio, anche in questo caso si nota una ricerca non banale di cantine della zona, punto forza il servizio della proprietaria sempre gentile e col sorriso una vera padrona di casa che riesce a far sentire a casa i propri ospiti.. Ottima qualità prezzo..

I remain perplexed. We're talking about a tavern and that's what I expected. instead I find myself talking about an excellent restaurant. This is not meant to be a negative review because the food, service and ambience are excellent but the atmosphere contrasts with the food. Atmosphere that harks back to the 1930s with various tin and enamelled signs that would appeal to any antique dealer. I expected a different, more popular menu. Instead I found myself enjoying more sophisticated food. I will definitely return because, as mentioned before, the quality is excellent.
