My husband and I had lunch today. The food was carefully prepared, plentiful, and excellent quality. It wasn't heavy and tasted exceptional. I regret not having the gnocco fritto, which would certainly have been worth it, but we had a first course, a second course, and I also had dessert (a strawberry and Moscato tiramisu is something you must try). I absolutely recommend Roggiolo, and I recommend making a reservation because today it was sold out. Luckily, I booked during the week.

An old tavern, renovated but not distorted. A few well-prepared dishes, professional and courteous service. Excellent value, not to be missed!

09/05/2026: John is absolutely the best in the industry. I got exactly what I ordered and it came much faster then expected. It was packaged so well there was no way it could get damaged. When I called and asked for other accessories that would work with my tank he had all the answers and gave me parts numbers for me to order them. Go nowhere else. Thank you John for a great Tank.

28/05/2026: An excellent family-run restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Oltrepò Pavese cuisine, with a subscription to the best local wines. Marco is an exceptional host; he and his family have run this restaurant just outside Casteggio for many years. The cured meats and pasta dishes are exceptional and noteworthy. I recommend booking a few days in advance.
