A truly must book for hikers who are also enjoying great food (una cucina innovante e da qualità !!!). In the heart of the stunning wood "La Foresta Umbra" (as part of the Parco Nazionale del Gargano). Short, long, easy, challenging, ...: all trails are available for hiking. The hotel is not for a luxury journey, but is is absolutely correct & very clean. We enjoyed the exchanges on life, Italia & food with Zlata, Libero, Cosimo, Luca, Marco and all the other staff members!!! #EldaHotel #IdentitaGolose #Gambero_Rosso

La location è sempre molto bella e incantevole all'interno della Foresta Umbra. Ci sono tornato per il pranzo pasquale. Ho rilevato un leggero calo della qualità del servizio sebbene i piatti ordinati siano stati buoni e graditi (tra cui pennoni alla boscaiola, il troccolo cacio) ; i prezzi sono stati un bel pò oltre (un carciofo 17 euro!, per non parlare dei dessert..)

We only had lunch and made various stops during our stay, polite and professional staff, maître d' of the highest level and exceptional chef, we took two "touristy menus that are not touristy" and ate 3 exceptional courses, even the excellent dessert (it was a revisitation of tiramisu, I don't remember the name). Excellent value for money. On the next tour in the Umbrian forest we will definitely stay here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ well deserved

There is nothing more beautiful than waking up in the heart of the Umbrian forest. But we need to review the room: dark (a larger window would also be needed to enhance the view) and stains on the wall. To be a suite you definitely expect something different. We had problems with the TV, the girl came up to the room several times to try to reset it until the evening. For the rest, impeccable breakfast but small portions. I definitely recommend the stay for the concept of slow life and contact with nature.

Elda Hotel is a fantastic place that blends very well with the magic of the Umbrian forest. Kindness, friendliness, professionalism combined with the refined cuisine of the restaurant make the hotel a jewel immersed in nature

Former refuge surrounded by nature, sustainable and decidedly fascinating. Zlata, the very kind director made us feel at home without ever being intrusive. The kitchen? A hidden world to taste in the chef's stories. Thanks for everything 🙏

16/07/2025: Looking for a restaurant for lunch, off the highway. A great find with house specialties, very, very good!! The owner is very friendly! We followed his advice for the starter (1 appetizer for 2, very generous), pasta with broccoli, anchovies, pine nuts, and braciole. We wanted to try the desserts and were not disappointed!: a good tiramisu and an excellent pistachio dessert! I highly recommend this little restaurant!!
06/07/2025: On our way back from Salento we stopped at this restaurant. Excellent 0 km food, the price was in line with what we ate. The owner was good and friendly. Recommended!

27/06/2025: We came to celebrate my granddaughter's first birthday, Beautiful location, but above all from the director to the professional and very kind hall staff, to underline the sympathy of Cristian who accompanied us with a smile all evening. Excellent value for money, highly recommended for your events.
11/05/2025: If you are in Cerignola I recommend this place to have lunch. The cuisine is delicious with truly well-executed dishes. The dishes are dominated by the excellent raw materials and the chef's ingenious touch. The place is well looked after, the service impeccable, the staff attentive and courteous. Highly recommended Coming back soon!
