We happened upon this restaurant on our last evening of our vacation. The best meal of our entire trip.
As my boyfriend said to me: And they don't have a star?
Perfect from start to finish.
The owner gave us freshly pressed olive oil to go with our bread.
After we each chose tortellone, he turned out to be a wine sommelier and recommended a glass of wine to pair with each sauce. And last but not least, dessert. The best tiramisu of the vacation and a delicious walnut chocolate cake with ricotta cream.
The owners are incredibly attentive and always up for a laugh.

We went to Rifrullo in Scansano and had a wonderful time! A welcoming and authentic place, where you can breathe in the typical Maremma atmosphere. The menu is full of traditional dishes prepared with local ingredients and lots of passion: everything is delicious, from the excellent truffle tartare to the amazing homemade pasta (a fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and one with white ragù).
The staff is kind and helpful, always smiling, and the informal yet refined atmosphere immediately puts you at ease.
A sincere place, where you eat well and feel right at home. Highly recommended if you're passing through Scansano! 🍷🌿
P.S. They accept dogs and offer them a treat ✨🐶
