Cozy and quiet place along the Corso with tasty and well-prepared pizza.

The owners were friendly, polite and very helpful. The polite and trained staff. I ate some excellent Salento fried foods; not to mention the pizza, the dough and cooking were excellent as were the high quality ingredients used. For those who like traditional pizza cooked in a wood oven, here you will find the best pizza in Gallipoli.

Coming from Naples you are always reluctant to enter a pizzeria....but I want to use 3 adjectives for these guys....friendliness, hospitality and quality..the first two adjectives for the welcome you received, the third because the pizza was good (not close to the top in Naples) but above all made with quality products... Congratulations again for your kindness... always continue like this... for us it will be the fixed stop every time we go to Gallipoli.... Greetings Chef Luca&Family

We found this place by chance. The owners, two wonderful people, welcomed us with kindness and professionalism. The pizzas were really excellent, the dough was very light, the fried food was also very good, the prices were more than fair. I recommend it.

We had a strong desire for pizza and the name of the pizzeria "Il Re della Pizza" immediately inspired us. I must say that my instincts were not wrong! I ordered the typical local pizza, the Pugliese, which turned out to be a real delight: crunchy, thin and full of flavors that enhance the local culinary tradition. The owner, Laura, welcomed us with great professionalism and courtesy, making the experience even more pleasant. I highly recommend this pizzeria to anyone looking for great pizza in Gallipoli!

Very soft dough although the pizza is not thick as the Neapolitan one. They were struggling a lot delivering a decent service probably due short staff. I had to ask for their attention several times. Good prices!
