Il Purgatorio In Tempio pausania

I organized a lunch to celebrate an important anniversary with my family at Purgatorio and I was completely satisfied with the choice. Together with Mr. Pier we composed the menu and all the dishes were excellent, well prepared and presented. The service was excellent as were the arrival times of the dishes. I absolutely recommend this restaurant for those who want to taste traditional Sardinian dishes revisited with originality but without distorting the flavors.

Excellent cuisine, also in gluten-free versions. Fresh fish and a wide selection of wines. Very kind and professional service. Characteristic and well-kept environment. Fair prices. Definitely recommended.

We went to Tempio last Shrove Tuesday to see the Carrasciali and for lunch we stopped at the Il Purgatorio restaurant due to the positive reviews which were all fully confirmed. Typical location in the historic center, perfectly furnished, quality raw materials, traditional dishes revisited with art and "taste". We ordered from the various menu and à la carte proposals, the "Faber" menu consisting of 3 surprise starters from the chef, an excellent surprise :), a first course all accompanied by a good Carignano del Sulcis and to conclude the dessert. The bill is certainly equal to what was consumed. For anyone who finds themselves in those parts, we highly recommend the restaurant.
