Located near St. Peter's Square, on a street lined with restaurants. Service is fast and very friendly. The food is a shame, though: amatriciana consists of pasta with tomato sauce and overly fried zucchini flowers. The only redeeming dish is the chicken with peppers.

The carbonara is delicious and the portion is just right. The cacio e pepe is sublime, but the portion is small.
The tagliata with friggitelli peppers is delicious. The house wine is very good.

The Roman starters were very good, but the pizza was just okay, as the dough wasn't very soft and dry, and the buffalo mozzarella Margherita could be better. Very friendly staff.

Sunday, September 21st, lunch with friends, 8 people. The dishes we were served were delicious. The prices weren't exactly cheap, but they weren't outrageous either; the price should be compensated by the quality, and we generally found it here.

I found this place while walking outside the Vatican, looking for a place to sit, have a coffee, and go to the bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised by an excellent tomato and fresh mozzarella pizza. We also ordered a carpaccio salad that was kind of plain, but with a little salt, oil, and balsamic vinegar, it was quite good. The service was a bit slow, but understandable given the crowd. I'm sure it could have gotten a better rating, but based on my experience, this one seems prudent.

Sono stato con mia moglie , in questo locale , il cibo è ottimo, abbiamo preso come antipasto un tagliere di salumi e formaggio, io un pollo con peperoni e patate, mia moglie una tagliata di manzo con melanzane e peperoni grigliati, servizio molto veloce, personale gentile, lo consiglio vivamente.

Wij hebben hier pizza gegeten als lunch. De pizza’s smaakte prima en de bediening was vlot. Alles bij elkaar dus prima !!
