Simply sublime, the setting is not overly small but comfortable, making you feel almost at home. The service was impeccable, from the welcome to the farewell. The food and dishes were unique, with flavors that take you back in time... for me, the highlight was the wine cellar, breathtaking, with refined and important national and international labels. A must-visit whenever you want to enjoy good food and seek tranquility.

This restaurant and osteria is located on the outskirts of Altamura, beneath a building. It's a nice place, but the tables are pushed together to maximize space. The outdoor dining area has been expanded, and when heated, it gets too hot. Some customers, wanting a cooler temperature, resort to opening the sliding door, thus disturbing other customers. The food is good, but the price is excessive for the quantity served. The appetizers are a bit poor. The sliced ​​steak, once served on a stone and now on a plate, cools down more quickly. The dessert is good, but also a small appetizer. The price per person is moderately high. Reservations are recommended.

It's 5:00 PM and we're still sitting here. At least 30-40 minutes have passed between courses. At least an hour has passed between entrees. No courses were explained to us, and the service was terrible. I'll start by listing the flaws: 1) slowness; 2) they brought the meat without specifying what it was and without asking how it was cooked; 3) they first cut the meat at our table, specifically by elbowing me in the head and standing under the waiter's armpit, without asking me to move or apologizing. A second time, however, it was cut at the next table, under everyone's noses; 4) poor communication between the waiters. You'd ask for one thing, and another would arrive. Too bad, everything started out so well. The appetizers were excellent. I can make the entrees better at home. The artichokes were undercooked. A few things need to be reworked.

An unconventional osteria, striving for simplicity but with quality and attention to detail. Fresh, locally sourced, delicious food. The meats and vegetables are excellent, as are the pasta dishes. There's no menu, but that's fine because the recommendations are always excellent. The wine cellar is exceptional, with great wines and excellent options for every budget. A delightful discovery.
