Every time I go to Loano, it's a regular stop. Everything is excellent, from the food to the service.

A constant favorite. Excellent food, a unique welcome, and a location with typical Ligurian brick vaults. Don't try to book because we don't take reservations...but trust me...it's worth the wait.

From Genoa, we headed to Loano to visit the Christmas markets. We had no idea where to have lunch and stumbled upon this. Lunch at Portichetto made the day even more unforgettable. Four adults, two 4-year-olds, and a 2-year-old made us feel right at home, both adults and children. The place is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly, nestled in the heart of Loano. We ate both seafood and traditional cuisine. The prices are similar to other restaurants, but here you leave with a truly full belly. The dishes are not only excellent but also generous. It was a wonderful discovery! Well done, guys, and thank you.

We went to the Portichetto for lunch on a Sunday. Without a reservation, they seated us right away (we were with our dog). The staff were very kind and quick to bring our orders. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, welcoming place both inside and out, COVID regulations respected, prices okay.
Good food, but I don't think it's fresh; overall, it's okay. I had a first course (spaghetti allo scoglio), where I found some sand in the shellfish and a lot of broken shells... the sauce was good, the spaghetti was good.
Then I had a mixed fried fish dish, which was light enough for a fried dish. The only thing was that some dishes, like the penne with salmon, didn't have much flavor, but overall, it was good. Service was a bit slow, but okay. I also recommend the mixed fried fish dish to take away, which is very good.
