Il Portichetto In Loano

I am editing my previous review which was 5 stars... Unfortunately, the last time we tried to eat here we were treated very badly. We have been going here for some time now, and it has always been great food, with friendly staff, and reasonable service. On this occasion we arrived when it was busy and we were happy to wait (as they don't take bookings). It was extremely hot, so we asked if we could have a table for 2 around one side of the outdoor seating, rather than the one they had offered, which was in front of the hot kitchen door. We were told twice by the staff member that this was absolutely not possible. Only a minute later, we see the staff moving a table and chairs for 2 around the side where we had asked to sit. They placed other customers there when they had already told us this wasn't possible. It was very insulting as they did this right in front of us without any care. When we challenged this, they had nothing to say. We left after that, and will not be returning. I feel embarrassed as we have recommended this place to many people, but now I regret that.

simple but good restaurant. You can't book so I recommend arriving early because you have to wait a long time, very good food and a fair price, but the quantity of the super frying pan is really exaggerated (two of those in the photo). although it was delicious with lots of fish! we believe they got the quantity wrong, believing it was for 6 when it was for 4 because it was truly impossible!😅 despite everything, have a good dinner!

Excellent food and very plentiful. Recommended portichetto spaghetti. The only advice is to make the alley area more comfortable.

Very friendly staff, excellent food

Excellent dinner, very abundant dishes and great variety of choice. The place does not accept reservations but, after a maximum of 20/30 minutes of waiting, you will be seated. The waiters are very good and friendly, another positive note of the place. Average prices.

Super tasty local food, great value for money, would come here again and again!

Super portions at relatively modest prices. We took the super grilled fish, excellent. Courteous and efficient staff.

We ate divinely, abundant and fabulous dishes, obviously compared to other places I paid more but it was worth it

Ambiente molto accogliente.. Come sentirsi a casa..menù molto easy, semplice ma di gusto! Non si accettano prenotazioni..punto a favore!!! Solo spaghetti o gnocchi come tipo di pasta.. E questo mi porta sempre a scegliere secondi o antipasti . Consiglio! Dolci fatti in casa! 😍

Locale piccolo , quantità abbondante, scarsa la qualità del cibo , servizio sufficiente . Rapporto qualità / prezzo scarso .
