Super friendly, better to reserve a parking space. The bar is great, the ambiance is rather...colonial doesn't quite fit the bill, but you know what I mean. It looks exactly like the hotel pictures. Everything is clean and very comfortable. But: The light, at least in our room, made it very difficult for my wife to put on makeup. And the pool doesn't open until June. It was a waste of time. Great location for shopping, by the way.

Beautiful location with a magnificent view of the lake. BUT it's impossible to walk to the small town of Laveno for dinner: the hotel is right next to the road, which has no sidewalk. The service, the room, the pool, and the staff are all excellent!

We stayed one night. Room with large window and balcony overlooking the beautiful lake. Excellent spa. Pets allowed at no extra charge and parking included. At night and early in the morning there was no one at the reception, breakfast served. Relaxing experience.

A truly romantic and welcoming hotel! We received extremely friendly and helpful service, which made our stay even more pleasant. The secured parking spaces offer additional convenience. The unique view of Lake Maggiore is simply breathtaking. The restaurant is beautifully designed, although a bit pricey for our family budget. Nevertheless, it is a place that you should definitely experience!

Me and my partner were most looking forward to the pool, which is why we booked this hotel. When we arrived the pool was empty. They had a leak that made the whole hotel wet. And we didn’t even get 10% of the money (950.-) back… Instead of giving money back they put a bottle of champagne there... We are both 19 years old and don't even drink champagne. We only went on vacation because of the beautiful pool, which in the end we couldn't even swim in!

09/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening here. The food was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent and very attentive. Even though we didn't know a word of Italian, we understood each other perfectly. The atmosphere along the boulevard is very pleasant, and the view of the lake and the sunset was magnificent. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!
06/09/2025: It's always magical to return to Sunset; the welcome, the atmosphere, the music always perfect, making you feel at home. Excellent service, an extensive wine and spirits cellar, and excellent cuisine. A piece of my heart ❤️. Highly recommended.

14/08/2025: Excellent aperitif, capable staff and bartender who knows how to do his job... in Varese this is not a given.
13/06/2025: Break at 1:30 p.m. in 30°C heat, it was the first bar that served us ships with the aperitif. 2 generous salads for the meal. Thanks to Orrietta who served us and had a crush on our dog Finger. A beautiful encounter ✌
