My wife and I arrived late from a long and hauling road trip. The beautiful room was equipped with all that one could dream of after a long day (i.e. bathtub, air conditioning of course, a shining view of the lago Maggiore and a comfortable bed). The breakfast was equipped with ample options for all types of taste (Ciabatta, Croissants, (sourdough) bread, scrambled eggs, delicious bacon, fruits, yogurt….). The location was it’s selling point, but the experience in its totality (pastries, Italian ham, cheeses, the view to wake up to…) won us over.

I stayed one night and had dinner at the internal restaurant which boasts a Michelin star. The structure is old but overall well maintained, it overlooks the lake and you have a beautiful view from the room. The rooms are quite large, I don't like blind bathrooms. Coming to the restaurant I must point out that I don't like overly elaborate foods but despite this the dinner satisfied me in terms of flavor and philosophy, the wine list is worthy of note. The service was good and very friendly. Basically, I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying a particular menu.

Finally! Despite the proximity to my home I never managed to try the L'Osteria restaurant inside the hotel. Let's take advantage of Mother's Day and bring all the mothers of the family. Everything really excellent. Good food, good wine and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Advise

The rooms are spacious with a balcony overlooking the lake! All simply magnificent ! Hearty breakfast: hot drink, fruit juice, muesli, yogurt, fresh fruit, cold meats, cheese, eggs, bread and pastries. Superb swimming pool with spa which gives a magical view of the lake! We highly recommend!

25/05/2024: Abbiamo pranzato in questo locale spinti dalle buone recensioni. Direi che non ci siamo sbagliati. Ottimi i fiori di zucca fritti con pastella con farina di riso che li rende leggerissimi. Eccellenti gli agnolotti ai carciofi conditi con abbondante bottarga a fettine. Squisiti i tonnarelli cacio e pepe. E per concludere torte fatte in casa( di mele e della nonna) davvero deliziose.
14/05/2024: Desde a chegada, o ambiente cuidadosamente decorado com flores e luzes na varanda e dentro também organizado de modo simples mas sofisticado ao mesmo tempo, com um atendimento sensacional, simpático e não-invasivo e com o melhor tagliateline com tartufo e também tagliate al ragu casalinga e com o MELHOR TIRAMISU que já comi na vida (mesmo depois de várias e várias vezes na Itália), mesmo que a cidade não fosse meu destino, voltaria aqui só para comer nesse restaurante maravilhoso onde o nome diz tudo: comemos num universo paralelo onde o tempo perdido é recuperado.

05/08/2024: We took part in the sunset picnic organized by Fai, the basket was prepared by the restaurant inside the villa. Everything is delicious, from setting up the lawn to taking care of the food. Very kind staff. We will definitely be back to be pampered at a dinner.
22/07/2024: Wonderful location in Villa Fai, very nice and elegant restaurant, exquisite food. Suitable for events and romantic dinners. Absolute peace. The idea of ​​a picnic basket with high-end gastronomy products inside is brilliant. High level staff, courteous, prepared and friendly. They make you feel at ease straight away. Extremely recommended.
