Fresh fish, tasty dishes, excellent value for money

A truly lovely place just steps from the natural arch... a family welcome... excellent and well-prepared food, not to mention the excellent value for money, which never hurts :) Highly recommended :)))))))))))))?

Everything was delicious, just a small note about the portions being a bit small.

Rustic, charming atmosphere, surrounded by greenery. Jazz music played in the background. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. Delicious food, all locally sourced. There were five of us for dinner. The appetizers were excellent, both fish and fried. For our first courses, we had spaghetti alla pirata (exceptional) and trofie with seafood (also delicious). The grilled fish and mixed meats were excellent. We weren't expecting the desserts to be amazing (we tried the fig and almond tart, the tiramisu cake, the watermelon sorbet, and the fig sorbet). Overall, we had a wonderful evening, also pampered by the "pirate," the owner, who told us many interesting things about the food and the place. Compliments to the chef, Maria, the "pirate's" wife! Recommended for anyone who wants to breathe in the authentic air of Cilento.

Dinner August 19, 2025 - Recommended with a few caveats. The restaurant isn't well signposted from the main road, which requires turning down a dimly lit side street. The tables are outside under a very welcoming portico surrounded by greenery, where the atmosphere is cool. Nearby are villages whose music provides a pleasant background. We ordered: seafood appetizer (unfortunately, there were no raw fish); spaghetti and trofie with seafood (recommended); spaghetti with anchovies (not particularly popular); and a trio of caponata (recommended). The downsides are: the pizza section is closed; several ingredients are out of stock; there's a wait to order; and there's a wait to be served. In any case, I recommend it as a restaurant, but you may want to schedule an earlier time.

Exquisite dishes, I highly recommend the potato croquettes and their delicious cutlets, excellent quality, good value for money and very helpful and polite staff and the owner very kind and friendly.

Si mangia benissimo, ottima accoglienza del personale e il Sig. Franco ottimo padrone di casa, una piacevolissima serata immersa nel verde, location ottima. Dagli antipasti al dolce non c'è che dire. trattoria rustica appena fuori Palinuro, offre pesce fresco ed a prezzi contenuti. Le portate sono abbondanti e ben preparate. buona la qualità dei prodotti. servizio un pò approssimativo ma va bene comunque, il personale è cordiale e disponibilissimo. pochi i parcheggi disponibili
