A top-notch restaurant from start to finish, from the ingredients used to the quality of the dishes, from fresh fish to grilled meat to homemade pasta, on a menu packed with delicacies that we craved during our stay.
All this in a location that captivated us, a blend of peace, nature, and history just steps from the sea.
Also recommended for families with small children.
Last but not least, we were welcomed with kindness and treated very well by all the staff.

Franco, known as "The Pirate," is an exceptional person. He cooks, serves, and personally oversees each dish. Above all, he cares about the quality of his offerings. He's a man from another era.

What can I say about Il Pirata. Calling it a restaurant is an understatement. It's an experience of nature, high-quality food (both fish and meat), and often even music with jazz concerts hosting musicians from all over Italy. It feels like being at home with friends eating grilled fish or a grilled steak. I recommend the spaghetti alla pirata!!! I've been going there for years now. Highly recommended.

"Il Pirata"
It's a magical outdoor spot immersed in nature, where you immediately feel at ease, far from noise and cars.
The food is excellent, with fresh and refined local produce.
The grilled meat and fish are fabulous: you can watch them being cooked on a large outdoor grill.
The kitchen also serves excellent first courses and generous appetizers.
The atmosphere is rustic yet refined, with attentive and friendly staff.
You can choose from a variety of typical Cilento wines directly from the truly evocative cellar carved into the rock.
Il Pirata also offers live music, with internationally renowned jazz musicians.
I was able to enjoy it all with all my five senses.
