Holy moly! One of the most memorable restaurants I've been to! At first it looked like it was closed from the outside, but the friendly owner stood outside & invited us in. The staircase is designed like a little museum. The restaurant itself is just cosy and authentic. We were then showered with an avalanche of delicious, freshly cooked Sardinian dishes. Make sure you don't have lunch before, they really stuff you up. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and welcoming. My fiancee was pregnant & they were especially considerate in her case. Every time we thought we're done they delivered another course. What a treat! We'll never forget this restaurant and its awesome team.
EDIT: My fiancee was pregnant at that time and they gave us a bottle of Prosecco to celebrate our son's birth with. Since there is no other way to contact them (no email or anything) I have attached a pic of the prosecco and our baby. Again, thanks so much, highly appreciated!

Very unusual! First, the entrance is on the side of the building and you have to ring the bell. Locals know, tourists may think it's closed. We didn't know Italian, they didn't really know English there, so we got what was planned... They brought out about 8 different things, the portions are quite big, you go when you're really, really hungry :) Us The menu was meaty, there are also dishes with fish, but we we didn't ask, we said just bring it. All in all, a recommendation

Alberto's friendliness and hospitality are the side dish that you can find, at Piede di Porko the dishes and delicacies from the appetizers, to the spit-roasted pig, to the goat
the stewed sheep is the seadas..

This is the sort of restaurant that will live long in the memory after you've been. We arrived to find the shutters down and no signs of life, until a local teenager gestured to us from the alley behind and asked if we were there for the restaurant. We then went up four flights of stairs, all decked out in incredible Sardinian history, from local bandito history to examples of old tools used for butchering animals. You arrive to be greeted by the evil genius himself, the legendary Alberto, stood at his workstation with a grin on his face, determined to show you that he's the master of dissecting and cooking pig and other meats in the tastiest ways possible. There is no menu, wine is red or white and served from a jug, and you are brought food until you can't eat anymore. This is a true treasure of Sardinia, and one of the most unique dining experiences you'll have. All hail Alberto!
