Everything was great, the service was excellent because if you didn't understand something they explained it to you with excellent treatment, I really loved it

2026 It's with some regret that I have to update this review. After a lunch experience with a local GenX clientele and an after-dinner drink with millennials recently, it's time for a change of scenery. It's always too crowded, and the quality/quantity of the cocktails has dropped, as has the attentiveness of the staff. (5 stars deserved because I've been coming back to Piccolo Diavolo since 2015. They've improved in quality and attention to personal requests in the preparation of drinks. The service is always excellent and friendly.) The welcoming location in Piazza Cola di Rienzo is very comfortable. The atmosphere is good vibes, and my margarita is always excellent!

A very relaxed and enjoyable bar located on Via Cola di Rienzo. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially the outdoor terrace facing the street, which makes it a perfect spot to sit, have a drink, and enjoy the local vibe of the neighborhood. The prices are very affordable, and they also bring complimentary snacks to enjoy with the drinks, which was a really nice touch. A special highlight goes to the service, the guys working there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking to escape the extremely touristy areas of Rome and enjoy a more authentic and laid-back atmosphere.

They have great Aperol Spritzes — unlike many other places where the glass is mostly filled with ice, here you actually get a generous amount of Aperol. The staff is friendly, and you also don’t have to wait long for your drinks.
