Found IT without looking, nice discovery, service was perfect and the food really good.

Very good place, very friendly staff. 2 pizzas, 2 desserts, and 1 bottle of sparkling water for €36.... Unbeatable value for money, especially since the quality is on the plate 😊 The only downside was that we would have liked to have pasta, but it wasn't on the menu. We realized too late that all we had to do was ask. Nevertheless, the pizzas were very good, and we highly recommend this restaurant.

I can't help but write a review for this restaurant! Everything was excellent! Even though it was very crowded and we hadn't made a reservation, they served us and found us a table with a very short wait. We had pizzas, pasta, salad and bruschetta and we also drank Italian beer. The pasta was fantastic and the pasta was fresh! The highlight, however, was the desserts at the end! They told us they have the best tiramisu in town but everything was delicious! The mint cheesecake was hell!! Very special!! I should also comment on the service! Everyone was smiling and in a good mood.

If all the places were like Il Picchio Rosso you would be spoiled for choice for where to go to eat, instead the education, the welcome, the quality of the food and the value for money is comparable to restaurants with a service at MUCH higher costs. In three people who having arrived before the reservation we asked if we could sit down anyway and we had a bottle of prosecco brought to us (excellent small bubble with the right acidity) which arrived with a delicious focaccia with burrata, anchovies and cherry tomatoes (excellent start). We had three tartares with sauces, a sliced ​​​​Angus Argentino (about 1.5 kg) with grilled vegetables, another 1/2 LT of sparkling wine, three sweet coffees, two Camatti bitters awarded as the best bitter in the world and an aged Rum!!!! The bill .... Very fair and correct 140 euros total!!!! Try to go around and then you will see the difference. Jonny I congratulate you and your staff for the correctness and the excellent environment that I have happily seen frequented also by families with children for an excellent pizza at more than honest prices. The place deserves 5 stars for the welcome from the staff, the good food and the excellent pizza. The location is pleasant and familiar, the position slightly away from the center is an added bonus for those who want to spend a relaxing evening, in a simple environment but where you can always feel the attention for the customers. To try and return.

Titolare cortese e disponibile. Ottima e gustosa la carne (sia la grigliata mista che la tagliata di Angus). Eccellente il tiramisù, anche se diverso dall’originale! Meglio prenotare perché i posti interni non sono molti!!
