I was there two days ago, but it wasn't the first time; I've been there often. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. I took two friends there for dinner; I had porcini mushroom pizza, and they had wild boar. The pizza was delicious, and so were the wild boar, my friends told me. The service was impeccable, fast, and friendly. The final myrtle cocktail was spectacular. I definitely recommend it for both a good pizza and a traditional Tuscan menu. Excellent.

Back in Palaia after a year. Pettirosso is and remains my favorite restaurant in the area. Delicious Italian food and very friendly people. I'm glad I had the chance to try it again. Until next time!

Family run restaurant with good menu choices. Great location with a sun terrace with great view in good weather. Pok steak and beef steak were terrific.

An authentic Italian restaurant, with great food and not particularly expensive, worth coming from afar. Thin crust pizzas, the one with Gorgonzola cheese was especially delicious. Great service. Lovely, smiling waitress.

We are currently (end of September 2025) in Tuscany – so after the season – and live near Palaia. We already know "Il Pettirosso" from previous vacations in Tuscany and we always enjoy going there. Table reservations are highly recommended, even in the off-season, as the beautiful garden isn't large enough at sunset and there are only limited seating options. Dogs are also welcome and are provided with water. As always, we had a wonderful meal this week. For starters, we had two bruschettas each, followed by a calzone for my wife and penne arrabiata for me. For dessert, we had two espressos and a tiramisu. We drank half a liter of Vino Bianco della Casa. All together, it came to just 53 euros. Very good quality at more than fair prices. The service was also excellent; we were served very well by two young waiters. The ambiance isn't quite as pleasant as in summer, when you can enjoy the sunset on the terrace around 9 p.m. But for us, it's still full marks, and we'll definitely be back for dinner in the remaining days. Thank you very much! PS: These prices should make many constantly complaining restaurateurs in Germany blush. Where can you get half a liter of open wine for 5 euros here?

Location curata, si può mangiare fuori e la sera d’estate si sta freschi. I bagni fatiscenti sono da rifare. Personale molto lento. Per antipasto è una pizza abbiamo aspettato tantissimo anche solo per ordinare. Cibo e prezzi nella media. Da migliorare.
