Wow! As my oldest son said, it was magical. We had a sampling menu of so many wonderful dishes. Everything was fresh, beautiful and hard to not ask for seconds. We are visiting Rome from Florida and wanted to experience food outside the city and happened upon this amazing family owned and operated restaurant. We will put it on our list when we come back to Italy and the kids wanted il Pescatorio shirts to remember and have a reason to tell the story of this food adventure. The love and attention to every detail is apparent and gave us a true appreciation of the dedication to the art of food that we hadn’t yet experienced on this vacation.

I ordered a combination of the various dishes this place prepares daily for a hearty aperitivo at home. It was a great experience. The price was fair for the excellent quality of the ingredients.

A true dining experience! Emanuele and Simone were very attentive, made great suggestions and led us through a tasting menu of Japanese inspired dishes (tuna sashimi, seabass tartare, a very tasty octopus fish, and other specialties). We feel like we made a friend at the table with what seems to be a passionate restaurant owner! Thanks for this highlight to our Roman holiday!

I often go to Il Pescario and find excellent quality fish, beautifully cooked and prepared. Plus, you can sit at the tables and order to eat in. They're also perfect for catering. A place to always keep in your diary!

Fresh fish. Well-conceived and well-executed dishes. Some are truly delicious. I go there for lunch whenever I can, and the evening aperitif is worth it (tapas-style, but high-quality).

07/07/2026: Very rustic, beautiful, and folksy atmosphere. I don't know if they've changed management, but the quality of the food has dropped dramatically year after year. This is already the third time I've tried to give it a second chance, but it always feels worse. The cooking technique is very high, the chefs are very good. The appetizers, first courses, and pizzas are all well-cooked. The problem is the ingredients; not a single one is worth it. Paying €15 for a plate of amatriciana like that is truly a disgrace, not because of the money itself—if it were that good, I'd leave it all behind—but because it's not even worth a third of it. The service is good, except for the very long wait between meals and the constant nagging by the waiters to order more, including other dishes and drinks. At least for the locals who have been coming back for years, a little empathy. I hope to see you next time.
