On November 1st and 2nd, 2025, I took a group of 24 people, half of whom also stayed on Friday. The facility was dated, but the rooms were warm and clean. Having booked half board, we were fortunate enough to sample authentic and plentiful cuisine. The group was happy, and we'll be back.

This year too, I returned to Villetta Barrea, "Albergo Il Pescatore," with many friends for the "G.E.M.A. Mycological Conference." The welcome was excellent, the service was excellent, the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, and the lunches and dinners were excellent, especially Maria's fresh pasta. Despite our advanced age and the 650 km that separate us, we hope to return next year.

07/05/2025: Bellissimo locale, tranquillo e accogliente, personale gentilissimo e attento, piatti cucinati in maniera eccellente, buone le porzioni. I prezzo sono in linea con la qualità espressa, forse anche un po' bassi per quanto offerto. Veramente molto buono!

13/02/2026: We had dinner at Locanda Medievale and were truly thrilled with the experience. We ordered a sliced ​​beef with Colonnata lard, simply delicious; tagliatelle with wild boar cooked in wine, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared; and the famous arrosticini, truly exceptional. Everything was excellent, and the quality/price ratio was surprisingly good. Special thanks to Alessia, extremely kind and professional, who served us with great courtesy, also explaining local customs and traditions, making the evening even more enjoyable. The location perfectly reflects its name: an evocative atmosphere with attention to detail that evokes medieval charm. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended.
