Fantastic soups.
Good service. And the atmosphere is very unique, with a menu written on the blackboard. Generous portions.

While most visitors flock to the coastline for seafood, the locals know the best fish is often found inside the city walls. Il Pescato del Canevone is located in a historic medieval building (an old warehouse, or "canevone") and stands out for its "zero-kilometer" philosophy. There is no printed menu; what you eat depends entirely on what the fishermen caught that morning.
Instead of a paper menu, the waiter brings a large blackboard (lavagna) to your table. This lists the day's catch. If the sea was rough and the boats didn't go out, the restaurant might even close—that is how serious they are about freshness.

The restaurant is in Rimini's historic center, not very big, I made a reservation. Very friendly staff, fast service. Excellent selection, and everything was delicious.

We returned to this restaurant for the second time in three years to coincide with a conference. The fish was very good, and the waitress helped us choose the right food without overdoing it. The wines and desserts were also excellent. An excellent experience.

A lovely discovery during a lunch break with colleagues who introduced us to this charming place in the center of Rimini. They serve only freshly caught seafood, and the quality is excellent. The atmosphere is rustic, small but welcoming. The staff are friendly, including the host, who explains all the dishes on the menu as you order, along with recommendations. The fried food is light, and the gnocchi are excellent. The place is just outside the restricted traffic zone, so you have to park outside (parking isn't always easy). Prices are average for the quality of the product. I think the maximum number of people for a comfortable meal is four, judging by the space and the available tables. Worth a try.
