A truly authentic place. The owner is lovely. The gnocchi and pizzas are spectacular. Highly recommended for the chef's friendly service.

Places like this are the hallmarks of neighborhood history.
As soon as I walked in, I immediately felt at ease. My compliments to the owner, Mohammed Ali, for his hospitality and the delicious dishes I ate. The place brims with personality. I definitely recommend the gnocchi with saffron and speck.
Next time, I'll try the couscous.

Afternoon after a morning of exams... we ventured into this restaurant-pizza-gnoccheria! Warmly welcomed by the Egyptian owner, who, after learning they don't make pizzas before lunchtime, welcomed us with a sample of delicious couscous. Then we ordered two types of gnocchi...I had ragù, my wife had pesto...all delicious, lots of large gnocchi, which unfortunately forced my wife to stop halfway through. We had a great time, the award-winning chef-owner (as evidenced by the various awards hanging on the wall) was extremely welcoming and friendly! Will we go back? Why not!!! Only a few places, but it's worth it!

This was probably the best food and culinary experience we had while visiting Italy! Any other gnocchi will have a high bar to clear. We had the cous cous as well which was divine.

The gnocchi were very good, and beautifully presented. I really liked that aspect. That's the real positive about this place.
The service was mediocre; they certainly did their best, but one dish never arrived (forgotten in the kitchen, I imagine) and not a word from the waitress at the table (a language barrier, for sure; I understand, but it's a bit extreme).
The owner, in my opinion, does his best to appear friendly, and he's not unpleasant, but he does come across as intrusive (asking personal questions about people's origins, constantly speaking loudly to diners, being familiar, etc., which gives the place the feel of a small-town restaurant, which I don't like).

Bueno, el nombre ya sugirió lo que tenemos aquí. Platos de ñoquis extremadamente sabrosos. Los platos rondan los 13€ cada uno, nuestro total para dos con ñoquis, postres, gaseosas y agua fue de poco menos de 55€. Yo diría que un poco más caro que la norma en la zona.
Personal muy amable y un ambiente encantador.
Realmente recomendaría si te gustan los gnocchies!

Well, the name already suggested what our get here. Extremely tasty gnocchi dishes. Dishes are around 13€ each, our total for two with gnocchis, desserts, sodas and water was just under 55€. I would say a bit more expensive that the norm around the area.
Extremely friendly staff and lovely atmosphere.
I would really recommend if you like gnocchies!!

The gnocchi with the alla norma sauce are excellent. The sauce is just right. Finally, the fried eggplant. Bravo!
