It's not just a pizzeria, but also a fantastic restaurant. Top pizza! Patrizio and Anna are fantastic hosts, Massimo very attentive in the dining room, always available. I highly recommend for any type of occasion. Excellent value for money.

Ottima trattoria, non solo pizza. Primi buonissimi, spaghetti all’assassina degni della tradizione barese, locale accogliente, staff super gentile, prezzi giusti. Se avete voglia di un posto dove mangiare bene un po’ più fuori dal centro fermatevi a Il Pasticcio. Super consigliato!

Lovely place, excellent cuisine. especially the first courses, I recommend a nice San giuann... not to mention the truly phenomenal spaghetti all'assassina. For the pizza I recommend just sitting down and eating it because it will make you dream. The owners are excellent and classy people

My experience at the pizzeria “Il Pasticcio” was far from satisfactory. We arrived at 9.30pm, but the pizza only arrived at 11.50pm, a truly unbearable wait. Although the place was crowded, there was no plausible justification for such a long wait, especially considering that the bakery seemed unable to cope with customer demand. Furthermore, the environment was extremely chaotic, with crowded tables that made it difficult to move and create a comfortable situation. The management of the place clearly appears to be in difficulty, and the service has suffered as a result. Waiting times were a real problem, and the absence of a system that effectively managed the influx of people contributed to making the experience even more disappointing. In an area where one expects to enjoy a good pizza without stress, “Il Pasticcio” failed to guarantee a satisfactory experience. Ultimately, my advice is to think carefully before booking, if you are not willing to sacrifice your time for a meal which, unfortunately, does not justify the wait.

Nice and well organized location. Excellent quality raw materials cooked with great skill by chef Annagrazia and her team. Excellent service with Massimo and Maria who, with their dedication to work, make the restaurant a place to go and taste the specialties.

A nice culinary experience, very kind and friendly, excellent food and excellent pizza. I recommend anyone passing through Matera to come and eat here.

We went a few Saturday evenings ago, after an evening at the cinema, so we arrived late, like around midnight... they thought it was too late now, but instead, even though they had started the closing and cleaning phase of the place, they still let us in. Very kind and courteous. We got some really excellent and plentiful central chips. The pizzas were really delicious, tasty and well seasoned. Good quality deserts too. Honest prices. Luckily, we are far from the crazy prices of pizzerias in the city centre, where you often pay a lot, even too much, but the quality is often very poor. In this pizzeria you eat well and you really pay a fair price. We will be back very soon! Excellent service. Recommended.
