The experience was nice with modern-like interior. You could say that it's more of a fancy restaurant. The food was rather nice and delicious with the service being alright and somewhat quick. The average price per person in this restaurant would be around 15-30€ depending on what you get to eat and drink. Overall experience was great and would recommend to go here.

Great restaurant, good wine, excellent service despite the language difficulties, excellent waiter and wonderful food, very good dishes, wine, I recommend it to everyone, I would go back several times.

Best pasta, that I've tried. It's a quiet place, so You can come, eat freshly made pasta and talk to each other. As it always should be. Deserved 5 stars 😊

We had lunch as a group with a tourist menu, all excellent, demonstrating that the palate can be satisfied even with inexpensive ingredients. Very professional and friendly staff. Compliments!

This was our second visit to Rome and we were staying near the Vatican. We decided to try this place because of the friendly and welcoming server outside. Once inside, we were greeted by an older gentleman who took our umbrellas and showed us the table. At this point, only two tables were occupied, ours being one. That we could see. The older gentleman quickly took our drink order, although we couldn't find a beverage list so we ordered what we saw was available, wine. To get to the point, the food was delicious, no complaints there. The prices I expected for the area, a tad high from other places. What I didn't expect was to be treated differently than the two tables that came after us. The older gentleman was so welcoming and engaging with them, but with us, he was terse and to the point. I've never felt rushed at any place in Rome, but today I did. As I'm drinking my glass of wine, he clears our dessert glasses and coffee cup and asks, "Do you want something else?" I said, "No." He immediately brings the bill and walks around until I place my credit card down. Once he runs it, he barely mustards a prego as I say thank you. Before we sat down, I asked the welcoming server how late they were open because I don't like being the person that's the last to dine. He said we are open. If the welcoming server had been ours through out the dining experience, no problem. The older gentleman is not so nice, in my opinion. We are American and we did order a side dish of fried potatoes with ketchup, but we also paid 70€ for our meal. I just got an off putting feeling from him. I didn't leave a tip. Not ashamed.

Unbeatable value for money. Especially considering that it is located hundreds of meters from the Vatican in a totally tourist area. We went in a group of 20 people and they treated us quickly, with friendliness and with excellent professionalism. The dishes, although simple, were impeccably presented and very well cooked. The response time in the kitchen to the order and the speed in serving such a large group and with the rest of the place full of customers were amazing. With establishments like this, Rome and all of Italy gain prestige. Without a doubt I would return to the eternal city just to be as well cared for as in Papalino.

Fabulous restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious! Looking forward to going back.

The typical dishes for which I return to this place are excellent (tonnarelli cacio e pepe, Coda alla Vaccinara, Roman tripe). Service and environment more than decent.

On a très bien mangé le serveur etait au petit soin Les pizza sont excellente franchement très bien rien a redire Seul bémol peut être la décoration un peu rococo

We had a fabulous meal here! Great service. Very under rated. The dessert and the pasta was amazing and homemade.
