We were initially unsettled by the reviews, but our son desperately needed a break and spotted schnitzel with fries on the menu. So we went in, as the room is air-conditioned (great!). We were given a seat by the entrance, which unfortunately wasn't very comfortable, as the waiter was also clearing there, but that was the only negative. Drinks and food arrived very quickly. We also received ketchup. The schnitzel was nice and thin, made from veal. It was even breaded, and the fries were just right. The portions weren't huge, but anyone familiar with Italian cuisine knows that it's designed for several courses. So if you're moderately hungry, you can fill yourself up or simply order another course or appetizer. We were satisfied and would eat there again in a heartbeat! We only had schnitzel and ravioli. We can't comment on pizza, but there wasn't any on the menu.

My family loved this place! We all loved our food and had a great waiter. We have a toddler and in Italy it’s hard to find a dinner place that doesn’t have cars going by sometimes there were no cars which made it a lot easier for a toddler to roam around a little. It was also a great stop. Outside of Vatican . Gnocchi and pumpkin ravioli were dreamy and the pizza was delish.This place is so underrated!

Beautiful setting, quiet, friendly staff. Reasonable rates considering the location, very close to the Vatican.

About two weeks ago, I visited this restaurant late at night, and it turned out to be one of the most memorable dining experiences I've had in a long time. The food was excellent, and the wine — recommended by someone I believe was the manager — perfectly complemented the meal. What really stood out, though, was the service. A young waiter, Mazzi (if I remember the name correctly), who is also a university student, helped me choose a fantastic dish. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. We ended up having a deep and engaging conversation about a wide range of topics — from AI and geopolitics to Italian and Iranian food culture. It was a rare and enriching interaction that made the night special. He even recommended a movie, My Favorited Cake, which I just watched and truly enjoyed. I'm writing this review now because his recommendation reminded me of that wonderful evening. Thank you to the whole team for the great service, food, wine, and above all, for creating such a warm and memorable experience.
