It's a cute little place for a quick snack. I came with perhaps too high expectations because I'd heard really good things about it, but my expectations were probably better than what I got. A square of pizza with mortadella, 8 mini pizzas, 3 pangoccioli, and a bottle of water for a total of €15, so good value for money. The pizza with toppings was very salty, and the mini pizzas, which looked like they were made with puff pastry, had a completely different texture and were really disappointing. I then tried the pangoccioli without anything, and I have to say, they were forgettable. I think it's partly my fault, both for my expectations, for trying the pangoccioli without toppings, and because it was midnight, and obviously things are easier to go wrong when it's late. The two gentlemen at the counter were really kind, which is also why I promise to return soon to change my mind and leave them 5 stars.

The best Pan Gocciolo in Rome. You can fill it however you like, they're served hot, and they're open late, perfect for ending the evening. If the price remains affordable, they'll still have their well-deserved 5 stars.

A great alternative idea is to prepare Pan Gocciole filled with various flavours...the ricotta and chocolate chips were really excellent, I must try them.
