The location is fantastic, as are the à la carte meals and breakfast. The only downside is that they don't offer any activities. They did offer us a wine tasting, but it was at a venue about 40 minutes away by car. Considering you're just there to relax, it's great and has fantastic views.

A truly beautiful hotel. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet and a true Tuscan feel. I'm writing this review during my stay and am really annoyed by some of the reviews I read beforehand. I actually wanted to cancel my booking because of these reviews. It would have been a mistake. Of course, you shouldn't expect a 5-star Hilton here. But then you're in the wrong place anyway. Yes, a few minor repairs or maintenance can't hurt. And everyone's needs are certainly different. The most important thing, though, is that it's clean, quiet, and the food is delicious. The breakfast is simply fantastic! And the view is fantastic, too. We stayed there for 4 nights with our dog. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation is a perfect base to explore Tuscany – Volterra, San Gimignano, and Pisa are all within easy reach. At the same time, it’s peaceful with stunning views. The staff deserves a special mention: incredibly friendly, attentive, and always helpful – truly outstanding! The restaurant is another highlight, absolutely top quality and highly recommended. The rooms are simply furnished but spotlessly clean. Overall, the value for money is excellent. We also loved the extra services such as the e-mountain bike rental and the possibility to book a massage directly at the property. Another big plus: dogs are very welcome here, which we really appreciated! We would definitely love to come back and recommend this place!

Agrihotel Il Palagetto is a true haven of peace surrounded by nature. A well-kept and welcoming property with spectacular views of the hills. Comfortable, clean rooms, tastefully furnished. Friendly and helpful staff are always ready to make you feel at home. The restaurant offers traditional dishes prepared with quality ingredients. A stay that combines relaxation, good food, and unforgettable scenery.

They made us spend 15 euros to stay in the outdoor pool, and that's fine, but the pool was dirty and unkept, with a broken floor! We then stayed to eat... inedible pici, but even though I pointed out that they were full of pepper, they didn't even ask if I wanted anything else, or they didn't apply a discount since I didn't eat.

13/10/2025: Excellent cuisine!!! The veal tongue and smoked swordfish appetizers are incredibly delicious. Followed by one of the best pizzas I've ever eaten... The view from the terrace over the rooftops of Volterra is magnificent. Highly recommended!👍👍👍
05/10/2025: 3 very successful experiences in this bistro (at different times). Beyond the superb view outside (panoramic terrace), the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is fast (even in the middle of August) and the staff friendly. We ate very well each time and the prices are reasonable for this very touristy village. We will return with great pleasure the next time we are in Volterra.

31/01/2026: I was very happy to return; nothing has changed! Everything was excellent! Excellent quality, tasty dishes, fresh ingredients, expertly and creatively combined! Very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service!
12/12/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant for some time now. Whenever I'm in Pisa, I always return, even today, and there's a reason. The quality of the dishes prepared. The menu varies slightly depending on seasonal produce. Reinventing dishes isn't easy, and the way chef Sandra does it is a skill. Reviews don't give the right impression; you have to try them. In every dish I've tasted so far, there hasn't been a single ingredient out of place or cooked incorrectly. The dishes are simply a feast for the eyes and the palate. And each dish is accompanied by a fresh, warm focaccia each time. Her husband, who takes orders in the dining room, explains in great detail not only the dishes but also how they're made, as well as the wines he offers. To those who say the wait is long, I personally didn't wait more than 10 minutes for a single course with a full dining room. Considering there's only one chef, I'd say it's not bad at all. And the dishes are worth the wait. Regarding the price, I'd say it's absolutely commensurate with the quality. In fact, it's perhaps even lower than it could be. I give it a full 5 stars! Well done!
