It's not the first time I've eaten in a starred restaurant. Great experience, nothing to complain about. The dishes are excellent and full of research. More than complete wine list. Comfortable environment and extremely friendly staff.

It was the first time we enjoyed an experience like this, and we found it impressive! The attention, the exclusivity of each dish with each explanation and the subtlety of each detail, truly enriching and wonderful. It has made us travel through each dish, through each smell. Thank you very much for the experience and for every detail.

My partner and I had a wonderful evening. It is not a simple dinner but a unique experience, I recommend trying it at least once. High level cuisine and impeccable service.

Location accogliente, quasi orientaleggiante. Vieni accolto e trasportato in un viaggio di sapori e profumi che ti stupiranno. Cameriere gentilissime educate competenti. Viene curato ogni dettaglio senza creare però un ambiente snob e freddo. Le ragazze sono accoglienti e simpatiche anche nella spiegazione di ogni singola portata. 10 piatti che ti trasportano in un mondo quasi irreale. Un regalo graditissimo

El servicio fue ejemplar, la comida fue exquisitamente presentada, pero nunca tuvimos ese momento ¡guau! donde el sabor simplemente te dejó boquiabierto que hemos tenido la suerte de experimentar en algunos otros restaurantes con estrellas Michelin. Eso puede deberse a preferencias personales. No soy muy fan del regaliz y los dos dudamos en probar el cerebro (hay que reconocer que estaba delicioso). Pero los platos de pescado en el menú degustación de 10 platos eran absolutamente extraños y la carne de res era la porción más pequeña que he visto (dos cortadores delgados). También muchos de los platos se sirvieron tibia en lugar de caliente. El plato de pasta (cerdo no el de pescado) era de lejos el mejor en nuestra opinión. Realmente quería ser sorprendido, pero me quedé sintiendo que algo faltaba.

As background we have eaten in many "special" restaurants in different parts of the world. I prefer a dining experience rather than a simple meal. Il Pagliacco exceeded expectations in every way. The courtesy and kindness of the staff was evident without being at our elbows. The presentation our ten courses was superb. I found myself asking how could a chef come up with these combinations, particularly that take elements from the cuisine of different countries. We are not big drinkers and felt no pressure in this regard. The pace of the meal was perfect for us and exceeded three hours. My only regret is that the menu provided at the end has insufficient info for me to relay to friends. I would enthusiastically recommend this restaurant without hesitation!!!

Family lunch. An intimate and elegant room was reserved for us with a sommelier available and a dedicated waiter. Very interesting dishes, impeccable service. Fantastic experience that I hope we will repeat

15/12/2024: Very nice and typical tavern, where you can eat fish-based dishes, the first courses with homemade pasta are delicious, the fried fish with the catch of the day is super, the prices are very honest. Super recommended
15/11/2024: We were last night with friends in this small place where we ate with an exceptional fish menu. The highlight was the fried fish: fresh, crunchy with the scent of the sea. A small flaw is the lack of a jelly which suits us well at the end of the meal. However it deserves a 10 with honors

07/01/2025: La Vecchia Conca: A Roman Jewel During our week-long stay in Rome with my son, La Vecchia Conca became our culinary anchor. Located in our immediate neighborhood, we discovered this restaurant on the first evening and were immediately hooked - so much so that we returned there every evening throughout our vacation! The staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. Despite the obviously high number of guests, they managed to create a personal and warm atmosphere. You immediately felt welcome and in good hands. The menu offered an attractive selection and everything we tried - from the starters to the main courses to the dessert - was simply outstanding. The quality of the ingredients was undeniable, the preparation masterful and the portions generous. A special highlight was the Roman fish soup: the fresh fish, the aromatic broth and the perfect seasoning made this dish an unforgettable taste experience. There was nothing to complain about; every dish was a culinary highlight. You could tell the attention to detail and passion for good food in every bite. The price-performance ratio was also excellent - mid-range price for dishes of excellent quality. In short: La Vecchia Conca is more than just a restaurant – it is an experience. The combination of excellent food, friendly service and a cozy atmosphere made our Rome vacation something very special. We can highly recommend this place and will definitely come back on our next visit to Rome!
