This is a really nice family-run place with really good food, great atmosphere, and incredible views from its panoramic window of the Crati Valley. The staff, the owner and his family were all very attentive and welcoming to my wife and I even though we were visitors to this delightful village and our Italian-speaking ability is in much need of improvement. Although it’s a two-hour drive, it’s well worth it and we’ll be back many times in the future.

24/05/2026: My wife and I were occasionally passing through Belvedere, where we were staying overnight, and the B&B host recommended this restaurant. It was 10:30 PM on a midweek evening in April, so not a very busy time. Nevertheless, we received attentive and attentive service from kind people who were concerned about making us feel comfortable. The food was very good, honest, fresh, without gimmicks or deception. The seafood salad was very fresh, without vinegar (which usually serves to cover up imperfections), with an unmistakable seafood flavor, excellent. The tuna steak was very well cooked, all washed down with an excellent wine at a very reasonable price. Calypso is one of those rare places where you find meaning among the people who work there, the pride and self-esteem in wanting to offer something good. We returned the next day, bringing friends with us and also trying the first courses... everything was very good! Well done!!
