Excellent location Excellent quality and service

A sign at the top of the hill as you arrive in Mattie indicates the hotel. The setting is truly superb. The rooms are very pleasant, and all the staff are truly friendly and attentive: it's an excellent place.

I'd give the service 10 stars. Unfortunately, it was a stopover on the way from Saumur in France to Rome. After passing the Fréjus Pass, we looked for a place to stay for the night, but we wanted somewhere nice, so we decided to call them. They were very kind, they didn't ask for a deposit and said they'd wait for us. We asked if they'd let us eat in the restaurant and they said yes. Then we got lost and didn't arrive in the half hour we'd asked. They still hoped we'd be served dinner without rushing us. The room was very warm and full of character. The managers and the people we interacted with were very professional and kind, and the food was divine. I highly recommend it, and we hope to return and stay for more days.

Always a pleasure to return. The owners are wonderful. The food is worth it. The location is relaxing and enchanting. With a riding stable at your disposal, wonderful rooms and a lawn. You can spend hours relaxing.

A typical inn with delicious home-cooked food, homemade bread and focaccia 👌. The lemon tart is worth a try! Friendly service.

Excellent restaurant. We were able to taste a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. The whole family loved it, from starter to dessert. The welcome was as good as the food. The waiters spoke a little French. The best restaurant we visited during our entire trip to Italy.

I only have one point for improvement: connectivity, Wi-Fi, etc. The rest is fantastic.
