Great place to eat fish in FCO, nice veranda but you have to book in advance, otherwise always full (obviously)

As always I am writing a very detailed review also because I really enjoyed this place. It was my birthday on 06.21.2025, and we went for lunch. We booked. We were greeted by the staff with great kindness and made to sit on the patio with a beautiful view of the sea, and lots of fresh air, the table was set very elegantly, as soon as the waiter arrived, very nice and kind, he took our order. I must say that everything arrived very quickly... we chose: spaghetti with clams, rating 8 with so many clams that the dish was huge, risotto with scampi cream, rating 9, seafood gnocchi, rating 8. Then we tried two different types of cod on the advice of the waiter, I must say both were excellent... I have never tasted cod in those two ways... served with elegance and beauty, because even the eye wants its part, rating for the two cod dishes 10!!!. My daughter preferred a nice plate of scampi... excellent rating 8. Then the final treat was the sorbet.... very special because GREEN APPLE SORBET.... EXQUISITE!!! NEVER TRIED BEFORE.. A GEMS OF THIS PLACE! and finally... we hadn't brought the cake... and the owner Stefania sent us a cake just for us with a dedication that I have to say was excellent, rating 9. In short, everything was perfect. Everything was excellent. I absolutely have to go back! You can't go wrong because you eat really well here. Thanks to all the staff!

Welcoming atmosphere, excellent seafood dishes and more, presented with kindness and professionalism by the dining room staff, among which the friendliness and Romanity of MASSIMO stands out.

We are Lupo and Arianna, we ate an excellent fish dinner with a picturesque view of the sunset over the sea. Alina's suggestions on the most delicious dishes were precious. Recommended dishes: tuna porchetta and well-cooked mussels soute. Fast and smiling. Highly recommended!!!

Always found it great, just for tonight's dinner I would have a little to complain about.. Risotto with scampi cream completely tasteless and fish covered with potatoes and mushrooms in which the overabundance of other elements hid the small size of the fish itself. Once I returned after years it can happen, I will return hoping to change my mind, otherwise I will have to abandon definitively

A very well-kept restaurant, with a sea view. We were in the dining room, but still very welcoming. Friendly staff, the waiter Massimo very friendly and knowledgeable. Very good fish dishes. I recommend the risotto alla pescatora, truly exquisite. We will be back.

The waiter was polite and quick. The dishes arrived immediately and were exactly what we wanted. Large portions. Excellent quality of ingredients and perfectly cooked.

We discovered this place by chance and we are happy we did! The place has a "welcoming" atmosphere that immediately won us over. The quality food and the very attentive and prepared waitress. See you soon!

Era la prima volta che mi recavo in questo ristorante. Era domenica e inoltre il giorno della festa della mamma. Il locale, elegante ed accogliente, era pienissimo. Ciò nonostante, io e la mia famiglia (6 in tutto) siamo stati trattati in modo impeccabile sia come servizio che come qualità del cibo. Il cameriere, Federico, è stato sempre presente ed attento ad ogni nostra esigenza. Il cibo eccellente, dagli antipasti (originali e di qualità) ai primi, secondi e dolci (un elenco infinito di proposte, tutte originali e buonissime). Ci tornerò senz’altro e ringrazio i Proprietari, Simone e la sua gentilissima signora. Rita M.

Ottimo pranzo ! Pranzare qui è una garanzia! Da leccarsi i baffi! Un buon antipasto del Moro anche se devo dire qualche cosina in più nel vassoio l’avrei messa… Risottino crema di scampi eccellente! Un bellissimo grande piatto di frittura calamari e gamberi ed una freschissima grigliata di pesce! Veramente consigliato! Unica cosa prenotate con largo anticipo!
