A place from another era, the dining room certainly isn't the most modern, but inside you can feel the spartan, timeless charm of bold Tuscany. Homemade, fresh dishes, made with top-quality ingredients, and truly affordable prices. As it is, it's a classic trattoria that always proves to be a sure thing, far from those places that turn out to be tourist traps. A family-run local restaurant. Their Cinta Senese ragù with pinci is unparalleled: a spectacle! Dishes are paired with local wines, usually from the Fanti winery. The view from the dining room is spectacular.

We were lucky enough to find a spot on the veranda, which was definitely better than the dining room at the entrance. The waitress was very kind and helpful, even though she was alone that day, and as soon as a few more people arrived, service began to slow down considerably. The house antipasto is absolutely worth it; the bruschetta was one better than the last! As for the Pinci, however, we were disappointed both by the pasta (overcooked) and by the sauce for the pinci with ragù, which was delicious, but we weren't thrilled with the fact that it was "supported" by the white pasta. The house wine was good! Overall, it's a place I recommend for its value!

The waiter deserves a special mention, as he pampered us throughout the meal. He offered us a taste of every dish we ate, from bread and olive oil to biscotti with vin santo. His kindness and generosity were infinite.
We had mixed crostini, guinea fowl, and rabbit—all excellent. The bill was truly fair. Highly recommended!

At first glance, the place looked a bit intimidating, like an old-fashioned diner, but everything about it—the food, the service, and the overall experience—was absolutely exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and generous, letting us taste everything. We especially loved the bruschetta, which was included with our meal and was fantastic. The only small disappointment was that the balcony we had been hoping for wasn’t open, but it didn’t bother us at all. We’re so glad we visited and highly recommend this place—it’s pure excellence!

Attentive and friendly service. Generous appetizers and tasty, well-served main courses. My pasta wasn't al dente, but the flavor made up for it.
Pleasant, simple atmosphere, good view of the city.

Very friendly staff. Excellent cuisine, very traditional, just like the olden days.
As soon as we arrived, they also offered us bruschetta and their homemade wine, and to finish, an excellent grappa and their chocolate and pear dessert.
We were very satisfied.
The price was very, very reasonable.
I highly recommend it.

We had a great pleasure having lunch at this osteria today.
Typical Tuscan cuisine, homemade, top-quality dishes, and all delicious, both the first and second courses. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the restaurant was run with love and passion. It had a family atmosphere.
If I were to pass through Montalcino again, I would definitely return! Excellent value for money!
