It is the only restaurant where we ate during our stay in Montalcino, but I have no doubt that it is the best ever. From the first moment we felt at home. Alessandro welcomed us with warmth and passion, explaining each dish in detail, sharing the history of the wines and the places with contagious enthusiasm. The restaurant also has a splendid terrace, perfect for enjoying the view in a relaxed and authentic atmosphere. The environment is familiar and welcoming, with attention to the smallest details. The food is simply extraordinary: genuine flavors, quality ingredients and perfect pairings with local wines. It was a real pleasure to discover this special corner of Montalcino, and we can't wait to return. Thank you so much, Alessandro!

The food was amazing, but that’s no news in this area, what’s really outstanding is the incredible service we got from the staff; we felt like we were dining at home, served by family and if that’s not the best, all this amazing experience happened in a restaurant with the best view of Toscana, from which we were lucky enough to catch a sunset. I have no words to describe the experience. Will definitely be back in, since it was the best experience in Montalcino.

Warm and friendly atmosphere, friendly people. I only ordered a glass of Brunello, but they poured four glasses of wine, including a starter wine and Rosso di Montalcino… ! The food didn't contain any special ingredients, but it was very delicious. It wasn't fancy, but I was able to feel the unique charm of delicious Italian cuisine. A restaurant I definitely want to go back to with a friend who loves wine.

An exceptional experience of taste and hospitality. We had lunch with friends at this restaurant and left fully satisfied. The food was excellent, quality ingredients and authentic flavors that speak of the area. But what made the lunch even more pleasant was the kind, friendly staff and particular attention to the customer. Whoever served us was impeccable, always smiling and ready to ask if everything was okay. A place that combines taste and hospitality. We highly recommend!!!!!

First time at the Il Moro restaurant, thanks to a friend who wanted us to have a high quality experience. The food was something truly extraordinary. The excellent service, friendliness and truly engaging know-how... we had the opportunity to taste a good wine accompanied by truly exceptional dishes, simple in presentation but sublime on the palate... the guinea fowl was amazing!! The first courses are mind-blowing...a true traditional local cuisine. Well done guys! We'll be back.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante in occasione di una cena tra amici. Abbiamo optato per un menù con degustazione, che prevedeva 4 calici di vino scelti sulla base delle portate ordinate a menù. Io ho provato un antipasto a base di bruschette miste e un secondo di faraona al vin santo con contorno di zucchine trifolate. Il tutto accompagnato da 4 ottimi vini, tra cui un calice di Rosso di Montalcino e un di Brunello. Successivamente il proprietario ci ha deliziato con piatti extra, un assaggio di vin santo e uno di grappa. Era tutto veramente buono e con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Ciliegina sulla torta, la simpatia del ristoratore. Consigliatissimo
