We went to this place for a quick lunch, I had some very good spaghetti with red prawns, while my partner had gnocchi with pesto and dried tomatoes which, however, she wasn't crazy about. The biggest flaw of the restaurant, however, remains the prices as the courses do not range that much and the cover costs 3 euros per person and is located at the end in the historic center where any other restaurant where we have been costs 2 and above all still water it costs 3.50 and here too in the other places you pay around 2 euros maximum 2.50 so given these prices it seemed a bit like the usual tourist trap that is easy to fall into

We had, tuna tartar, melanzane alla parmigiana, veal cutlet, melanzane meatballs, linguine with prawns, onion soup and other dishes and all was really delicious. Located in a beautiful section full of boutiques, some of which have beautiful artisanal items..

Arrived in Tropea and right next to my accommodation was Il Marchese restaurant. I needed lunch and the owner prepared a small dish of anti pasti especially for me. It was exactly what I wanted and needed. So given it was so enjoyable I went back in the evening for dinner. I had the fresh fish of the day with lovely vegetables! All grilled and so delightful. I was given the chance to select the size of fish I wanted.
I must say I loved the music playing! Right up my alley but not over powering just on the background.
I’ll be back. Fabulous.

We had dinner with swordfish rolls and paccheri with tuna and cherry tomatoes, all delicious! The service was excellent, the dishes arrived promptly! I recommend this restaurant!!

Ristorante nel centro storico di Tropea, in posizione strategica ed accogliente.
Servizio di sala molto buono.
Menu tipico sia di carne che di pesce.
Buona selezione di vini.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Nel centro storico ma non nella calca. Personale e titolari cortesi e gentili. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo a base di pesce, 3 primi dalle giuste quantità (non era certo poca la pasta come si usa ormai in molti ristoranti), 2 secondi , un quarto di vino locale e acqua. 100€ ben spesi. Consigliato !
