A thrilling experience for the palate. Traditional dishes revisited by an excellent chef. I recommend the tripe in white sauce with truffles. Unrivaled. Everything we tried was excellent: the "gocchi" (a type of pasta) as an appetizer, and the truffle gnudi as a main course. The service was attentive, courteous, and witty, but without being overbearing. I recommend it to everyone. We'll definitely be back.

The place is beautiful, all the dishes we ordered were good! The fillet, the truffle, the chicken croquettes, the waiters are kind and attentive to the customers. We will gladly return!

We had lunch here on our way back from skiing. We stopped because of the excellent reviews. Our lunch confirmed them all. The food was delicious, with a varied and beautifully presented menu. Excellent quality. The dessert (basket with mascarpone and brownies) was wonderful. Special mention for the service provided by the two waiters. We will definitely be back!

An excellent experience, especially considering it was New Year's Eve. The food was truly delicious, carefully prepared with quality ingredients. Special praise goes to the waiters: kind, attentive, and always available, they helped make the evening even more enjoyable. Efficient service and a welcoming atmosphere. Recommended!

On Friday, October 31, 2025, I dined at this restaurant for the first time with my partner. I had heard about it but had never been there. We ate very well; everything was delicious, with the main courses being better than the first courses, but the first courses were also good. We had meat dishes: whole wheat maltagliati with duck ragù and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, and for main courses, wild boar steak with caramelized chestnuts and guinea fowl confit stuffed with chestnuts and sausage, all cooked at a low temperature. Delicious. And to finish, a delicious dessert. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

04/01/2026: Wonderful experience! I've never had a better Florentine steak. Frankly, the price was even too low for the quality of the food we ate. I HIGHLY recommend it!
30/12/2025: We chose this restaurant on a beautiful Sunday in November, inspired by the numerous positive reviews, and I must say we were completely satisfied! We sat in the second room, more modern and welcoming than the entrance, and immediately appreciated the elegant yet unpretentious atmosphere and the kindness of the staff. Pappardelle with wild boar ragù, fried porcini mushrooms, a delicious roasted porcini mushroom cap, and the inevitable steak! A good red wine accompanied it, and a cream-filled millefeuille for dessert. What can I say... it was an absolutely satisfying lunch. We waited a bit for the meat, probably because the place was crowded, but it was absolutely worth it: quality produce, cooked properly, and beautifully presented... Excellent! The pappardelle with wild boar thrilled the kids, and the mushrooms were the icing on the cake of a lunch that simply leaves you wanting more. Considering the quality of the product, the bill seemed fair for what we ordered. Parking might be a bit difficult along the road that runs through this small corner of Nievole; I'd recommend arriving 10 minutes before rush hour. Otherwise, "Il Pellegrino" keeps all its promises and offers customers a totally positive experience! Top marks!
